I have updated the drivers to 11.2.0.1006 WHQL, and get similar results still on the intel. I think I will be sticking to the intel SATA2 port. With Marvell + "IO LEVEL UP" there is a penalty in graphic card bandwidth.

Thank you for mentioning RAIDFix. I used RAIDFix and am now able to boot while in RAID mode without setting up any RAID configurations. Results seems to be similar to ACHI. Test on Intel RAID mode

No, I was not in RAID mode, but in AHCI. I tried changing to RAID mode but bsod on startup. It seems that I have to create a new raid volume or something. I haven't used raid before.

I used to, but it was hot and not very stable (maybe due to ram?), and games (in 2009) didn't really stress the CPU, so I went back to stock. I remember that the i7 860 with turboboost can reach 3.5ghz. And the highest I got for an overclock was 3.8ghz.

On the input lag issue, I was using a HDTV for a year, which had massive input lag (>50ms). Didn't notice anything on desktop or other better games. Part of the 98% I guess. But a lot of games lagged even with v sync off, as if they were some crappy console port. They probably are these days...

I tried custom RGB again. Screwed up and red. I only remember letting it go to sleep once, since I got it on Monday. Did a factory reset immediately, and custom RGB works. Sticking to sRGB.
