If you have msi afterburner, remove it and framerate monitoring, that made control crash for me every time, but also Wolf Youngblood. Raytracing and dlss on caused crash every time. Removed afterburner and no crash. I am on MSI gaming 2080TI. I closed it still crashed, only when fully...
I have been waiting for so long to upgrade, as i have a free-sync monitor and dont want to switch teams just yet. my dual 290x/290 are good when they work together, when they don't its a glitch fest sometimes. I hope we get some kind hard info from AMD and not just internal features of vega.
If it comes at 1,000 they can keep it. I get that GPU's are expensive to Develop but prices are getting a bit out of hand. We really need AMD to start getting something more powerful soon.
Both cards are really good but it really depends on games you play, some are a toss up on either camp{Dx11 1060gtx vs 480 DX12} backlog on NV will run better vs buying for Future. I have had AMD cards for last couple of generations and drivers overall have been pretty good.
Also, I have reported it, and have also tried with and without fraps running, and also rivatuner on and off. Other games have worked when turning off crossfire in profile. I will say the control panel has been when most issues started, as the pre crimson drivers I never had this issue.
I am good on everything else, I have [email protected], just getting tired of random game issues from dual cards. New doom game won't launch if crossfire is enabled. GTA V on the other end runs better than 980ti for me. I love the performance boost but just wished it worked as well as single card.
I have my 290 and 290x and for the most part they work great but current dx 12 games mostly support only single card and performance has been average. I have my Asus 27 1440p free sync monitor so I don't want to switch to green side but I am getting upgrade bug again wish AMD would release new...
having the same random black screen, when trying to start bf4 and sometimes it will go black screen, when just browsing, temps are fine, prior beta drivers were fine, but i had to reinstall them to stop the black screen that was occurring on those to, tried doing the same with current beta...
My current system is I7 970 @ 4.2, 18gigs of G.Skill memory , Asus x58 formula iii, 750watt power supply. Prior card before 290x was my 580gtx which i overclocked and system had zero problems for 3 years straight, since the card came out. So its the new card that seems to be the only...
I was getting the random black screens also, just removed driver and refreshed from Device manager on windows 7. I'am still getting random crashes in BF Bad company 2, also crashed in gta 4, also crashed on new tomb raider game, not sure what the hell is going on with this card, My 580gtx ran...
i only do single GPU, fastest possible card on market, i dont want to bother with sli or crossfire. Thats why i havent upgraded to a 680, its almost like my upgrade to the new cpu. small increase for lots of money.
So confused personally, i have a, X58 platform,, I7 970 OC at 4.0 and have 18 gigs of memory, 580GTX, asus rog formula. Should i upgrade to 2011. The issue is that i already own a I7 3930k brand new in a box. but i feel like iam going to be wasting my money on an expensive side grade vs. selling...
