Pillars of Eternity (just picked it up in the recent Steam sale)
Grim Dawn (they added some more of Act 4 and the devotion system recently, game is awesome)
Renowned Explorers (Steam sale)
KF2
Vermintide
This game is awesome. It wasn't even on my radar and I just picked it up on a whim. The level design/atmosphere is great, the classes have multiple weapons to choose from, some loot progression (they do need to tweak this a bit, and they said they would). This game kind of released under the...
Grim Dawn is really good. It's in early access right now, but there's a lot of content and replayability already, and they update it quite often. They're thinking it will release towards the end of the year. It's a spiritual successor to Titan Quest, but it's a bit more complex for the...
Steam/Valve doesn't decide on the price/discount, the devs/publishers do. I really don't know why people insist on blaming Valve for bad sale discounts when it's not in their hands.
Once you've been through the zones a few times, you get to know their general layout and are able to quickly navigate them. Also, as you level, you should get gear/passives/movement skills that make movement MUCH quicker. Loot drops also get better just because if you have a decent build, you...
Nosgoth - in open beta, 4v4 asymmetrical gameplay, free to play! Very fun.
Grim Dawn - going to start the Act 3 content, haven't checked it out yet
Sang Froid
Darkest Dungeon
Started a new character using primarily Sigil of Consumption, and the relevant skills that synergize with it. Seems OP so far, but only level 21 with it.
Personally, I like the less hand holding and more options approach. Sorry you don't like some types of games, but most people are capable of their own research. How do you manage to go to other stores without items being spoon fed to you? I worry about some people.
Some of the best games...
New class releases today, Vanguard, a shield-bearing close/medium range defensive/support class for humans. Patch notes here: http://www.nosgoth.com/game_updates
Valve recently released Dota 2 and CS:GO, and although they're not "new" games, they do count as games. Also, Valve does a TON of stuff for PC gaming in general that is very under-appreciated. All games they have are MODDABLE. They made Steam workshop, allowing people to use mods easily in...
Really enjoying this so far! While it's not a lot of "game" yet (only 15 or so levels), the basic building stuff is interesting enough already to justify the price. They're going to increase the price as they add more content.
This is the video that convinced me to get it, lol...
So after a few days of playing, what's everyone's favorite classes? I have everything except the sentinel so far. On the human side, I really like the alchemist. I really wanted to like the scout, but just don't seem to do as well with him. On the vampire side, I'm the best with reaver, I...
I'm having a ton of fun with it. I never played it before yesterday. It reminds me a bit of Left For Dead versus mode, without all the running, in an arena style map. It's 4v4, humans vs. vampires, and each side currently has 4 classes. Each class has its own abilities and weapons, and each...
Ugh. I REALLY want Divinity Original Sin, but I know I could get like 5 games I kinda want for the same price. Limited budget for this sale. Decisions, decisions. Although looking at my wish list, there's no game I want nearly as much. Do 5 "kinda wants" add up to one "really want"? At...
I paid full price (30?) for it and don't regret it. Only the first 2 Acts are finished, but it's quite polished. I already have 60+ hours in it, but I like trying different builds/farming for loot. Any progress you make (characters and loot) will carry over into release. Multiplayer should...
There aren't too many games nowadays that I look forward to, but this is one of them (along with BoI:Rebirth and some other kickstarted RPGs). I'll wait for some reviews before I pull the trigger, but I've really wanted a good old-school turn-based RPG for a while now. Preliminary word of...
Build 19 released today, adds 2-handed weapons along with a few other things.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Magicka! It's great with friends and alcohol. Trying random combination of spells paired with friendly fire results in amusing times.
Playing the hell out of Path of Exile in the new Ambush league with mini-expansion. I gave D3 another chance, and it's better than it was, but loot is still pretty boring. PoE just continually impresses me with their (FREE!) content updates. GGG is great company.
One thing to keep in mind is that you DO get to keep all your characters and gear when the full game is released, so it's not like everything is going to get wiped. I've been enjoying playing with different builds and getting quite the collection of rares. They just released Act 2 with a level...
Wow, the new Vaal skill gems look awesome...that ice nova and fireball!

They're pretty good at keeping this game fresh.
I played the F2P version and quite liked it. Even dropped some money on it for extra zones. It was a very nice and relaxing MMO for me, the landscapes were awesome (and still are). Think my highest was lvl 40 or so, but I really enjoyed the environments and story.
Can't believe there's not a thread on this awesome game yet... http://store.steampowered.com/app/208090/ Already in the top 10 of Steam games played, because it's just fun.
A fair, F2P fast-paced twitch shooter that's just plain fun. Was just released on Steam a few days ago.
It...
Our Darker Purpose (http://store.steampowered.com/app/262790/). It's quite similar to Binding of Isaac with some of its own twists. If you liked BoI, I would definitely recommend it.
Also going to try out LoadOut, just came out today, it's a F2P multiplayer shooter that has been getting some...
Is it possible to give someone else a key? I got another invite for this weekend, but already had access for this weekend. I tried giving the key to my girlfriend (she made a new account to redeem it) but it says it's invalid. Is it because it's tied to my e-mail, or is something else going on?
Respeccing "majorly" is difficult/expensive for the passive tree. Skills you can swap out anytime for free. It's a common saying that you WILL screw up your first character or 3, and that's fine. You'll have saved up some gear/currency/skill gems for your other up and coming chars, and the...
I just downloaded the PTR client, but when I load it up, I don't see any of my normal chars. Do we have to start fresh, or is there a way to copy them over?
EDIT: Nevermind, found the instructions on how to copy characters.
That's much more cruel than generous. Here, I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. All you have to do is PM me the 3 numbers, and all will be well.
Although it's not a pure TCG, Card Hunter is a mix of D&D, TCG, and turn-based strategy. It's free to play, and releases in....an hour and 50 minutes. Each piece of loot has cards (abilities) associated with it that your characters use.
I've really enjoyed what I played so far. There's a...
Apparently it releases to everyone on Sept. 12, and there will be a wipe for all characters in the beta. Oh, there is multiplayer too, but I haven't messed around with that yet.
