Gaming Monitor: Dell 2209WA vs 120Hz Display such as BenQ XL2420T?

I currently have been gaming on a Dell 2209WA E-IPS Monitor and am wondering if I would see an improvement by going to a 120Hz Display such as the BenQ XL2420T? I play FPS and my video cards get 90+ FPS, I already have two of the Dells and was thinking of adding a third (middle) 24" LCD for...

New 120Hz 2D Gaming Monitor to go with Dell IPS Panels?

I have thought about getting a new monitor for gaming primarily and wanted your advice. I miss my old CRT for its refresh rates but it died and I am not willing to fork out the money for a FW900 and for it to be shipped here. I have been using 2- Dell 2209WA E-IPS Monitors and wonder if a...

Overclocking help - AMD w/locked multiplier

OK I have my fsb up to 225 and run stable on prime 95 for 8 hours (43*C max temp). I have my HTT multiplier back to 2Ghz, but how do I get my Ram back to 1066? I have multipliers of x4 or x5.33. I runs OK with the ram at x4 (but at ~900 mHz), if I try and bump it up to x5.33 (~1200 mHz) it...

Overclocking help - AMD w/locked multiplier

I would like to AMD Phenom II B35 (Unlocked Athlon II 435) my processor a little bit more but I can’t seem to keep it stable. It runs cool (~40*C)even under load so I don’t think it is a heat issue. Currently I have AMD Phenom II B35 (Athlon II x3 435 with unlocked 4th core) 1.425 V...

    Upgrade for Modern Warfare 2

That build is $391 before taxes and shipping. I would like to spend as little as possible $500 limit, but $400 is much better.

need to get back up to speed.

You don't happen to be in the Southeast USA do you? If so, I might be willing to take the FW900 off your hands. My CRT recently started to die and I bought a Dell 2209WA to replace it. IPS panels are way better than TNs, but CRTs still do some things better.

    The actual display sizes?

For 16x10 monitors multiply the diagonal (22",24" etc..) by 0.848 to get the width and by 0.530 to get the height. For 16x9 monitors multiply the diagonal by 0.871 to get the width and by 0.490 to get the height

Just ordered the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA

I haven't been able to get it to work with a 75hz refresh rate even with powerstrip. Any ideas? Also I can tell it is noticeably slower and the colors seem off compared to my CRT. I wish mine wasn't dying, as I have always liked CRT (and always wanted a 24" Sony FW900)

Just ordered the Dell UltraSharp 2209WA

Mine just came in today. I have just hooked it up and am playing with the settings. I did notice that the back says 2209WAf. I am not sure what the "f" stands for.
