AMD Phenom II X6 1060T Voltage Drift?

If you're talking about CPU voltages under load, then two things may contribute to what you are seeing. First off, if you have cool 'n quiet enabled, Your processor is switching between P-states depending on the load. Each of these P-states will have a different voltage setting, probably...

This is probably a stupid question

LGA really isn't any more durable than PGA, infact in a lot of ways it's less durable. For LGA, the pins are in the socket instead of on the CPU, and they're way more fragile. I'm pretty sure an LGA socket is much more expensive than a PGA socket, too.

Question about video cards and drivers.

Even if you mix AMD and Nvidia, it should default back to the windows drivers. You just need to uninstall and use a driver cleaner, and then install the correct drivers. Dan is correctly about the unified drivers within a brand though; if you're talking about two (current) nvidia cards, they...

Another 'what card' thread... (GTX280 present day equiv, cool, quiet, low power)

6870 or 5850 would be in about the right ballpark. Do you mean cooler/quieter than the GTX280 (cuz just about any current card at that level is), or subjectively cool/quiet for something in that performance range?

    ddr3 ripjaw x 12800 4gb posts as 1333

isn't X58 only officially rated up to DDR3 1066? You'd definitely have to manually set the timings and voltages, or enable the XMP profile, to have the RAM run at it's specced speed and timings. *edit* Yep, even the 980X is officially only DDR3-1066: http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=47932

    Memory Issue or CPU cache?

Probably not the CPU cache, but I guess one of the memory controllers on the CPU could be bad. Do you have another CPU to test with? I still think it's more likely to be an issue with the RAM though, make sure your memory settings in the BIOS are default, or even try relaxing them a bit.

Ram Timing Advice for new build

9-9-9-27 @1600 is definitely faster than 9-9-9-25 @ 1333 (~same timings, faster clocks) You'd be hard-pressed to be able to tell the difference between a system running one versus the other, though, unless you were running a memory benchmark. It's almost pointless to get super low-latency...

    DDR3 idiot

Definitely go for the lower voltage ratings on DIMMs if you have a choice. It helps with both power usage and compatibility with newer CPUs, since the market is headed toward lower and lower DDR voltages. You might just be able to put a 1.5 or 1.35V DIMM into a next-gen platform.

High density DIMMs vs low density DIMMs?

Low density chips have higher bandwidth, yes, but that's why for high density they pack twice as many chips on a DIMM. You end up with the same bandwidth overall. There *might* be some advantages to using low-density DIMMs as far as current draw is concerned, but I doubt there's a measurable...

Vdroop? Do you leave it enabled?

Well, you can't just "turn off" vdroop, that's for sure. You can turn off the BIOS features that help reduce it, that's not a very good idea though.

There are so few noticable benefits from overclocked RAM that it's [H]ardly worth the trouble at all. I can't even tell the different between running my RAM at it's "rated" 7-7-7-20 @ 1333 vs the default 9-9-9-24 unless I run a RAM benchmark

Will adding 2 more ram sticks mess up my OC?

This should do the trick. You have a BE CPU, so beyond RAM timings and freq. it shouldn't affect your OC in any other way.
