I want to upgrade my old soundcard Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme gamer but i don't really know what to get.
It will be used 90 % for gaming, with the headphones Sennheiser HD 429, but soon i will upgrade the headphones, as well.
What soundcard would you recommend ?
ASUS ? Creative...
I tried with a different video card, GTX 660, but i couldn't even boot the OS, the card wasn't recognized.
After i removed the GTX 660 to PCIex16_2, everything went just fine
i tried again and again with PCIex16_1 and PCIex16_2 and with PCIex16_1 i have issues, i think the slot is broken / damaged. PCIex_2 is working and the monitor doesen't turns off - on
Do you think, that's a reason for replacing the motherboard ??
I tested yestarday and today, for about 9-10 hours, with different cables, switched PCIex slots for GPU, Windows fresh installed, everything is updatet, BIOS settings, etc, and after all i tested, i came to the conclusion that my PCIex16_1 is somehow the culprit.
When i tested in the PCIex8, i...
i have Samsung UE40JU6550, it can do 4:4:4 @4k 60Hz but if you enable Game mode for lower input lag , you will only have
4:4:2
There is not a huge difference between 444 and 442
The Samsung tehnician toke the TV to service and he gave me another Samsung TV 40" full HD, just to use it until they fix mine.
Now i played War Thunder for about 10 minutes, and the problem is, the display turned off-on for about 2 seconds.
That means, something is wrong with my PC / hardware...
I called again Samsung service, and i told them the issue with the screen ( turns off - on, randomly ) and Friday someone is coming to see what he can do.
You think he will replace the tv mainboard ? What can cause the heat issue ?
The mainboard is getting too hot / tv power supply ??
is that a reason to get a new display, with the tv heat issue?
mine is getting off and on especially when i play, but it doesn't happent with another monitor
i thought the gpu is damaged, or cpu, ram, mainboard, psu, hdd, sdd, but everything seems to be okay when I use another monitor
I switched back to Samsung. TV restarts a lot, i do the test when i'm playing Project Cars - singleplayer.
With BenQ i didn't have this issue, with Samsung the screen turns off and on randomly.
Did you tell this to Samsung ?? When did you buy the TV ?
Sometime, the TV goes off, sometime restarts. But now i try again with another display ( monitor BenQ BL3200PT ) i have no issues with this monitor.
I'm not sure but i think there is a TV hardware issue. HDMI slots, tv mainboard, etc...
I just tried now.
Windows wasn't turned on, so i went only through the tv menu, and after 3-4 minutes, NO SIGNAL.
So, there is nothing wrong with my PC.
Now i download the latest firmware 1411.0 altough i tried from the tv menu, it says " there are no new updates for you at the moment "
But...
i changed the HDMI cable, now is a bit different.
Every 5-6 minutes, the monitor turns off and on again, for a second is black, no message on the screen.
Now i don't have to unplug - plug in again the HDMI cable
What could be ? My GPU is new, my PSU as well, CPU, motherboard, RAM, almost...
It's hard to find out why the tv turns off randomly. Sometime it happent 2-3 times in 1 hour, sometime once in 3-4 hours.
Could be the HDMI cable ?
nVidia driver ( latest version ) ?
HDMI1 port is damaged ?
Software TV - menu - damaged ? ( after i went into Service Mode )
My graphic card ?
what do you mean ?
Control Panel / power options ( i use High Performance ) change advanced power settings / display ?
There is already " Turn off display after - NEVER "
I'm waiting, too.
So, i hope i can update it soon.
But i have another problem.
The display turns off randomly, NO SIGNAL appears on the screen. Windows is still running, no BSoD, temps are good ( CPU about 29 and GPU about 31, motherboard 27-29, etc )
So, i have to unplug and plug in the HDMI...
I only use DVI - Component when i reboot the computer / access BIOS / F12 / Quick boot menu, etc, and then i could switch to HDMI.
I'm not sure if that would work, anyway
