Fair enough, I did not see the powered amp has no loss. Honestly never used a amp on the modem side, only catv side.

    Cable Internet Question

Eric was right in that you should use Antronix splitters, however the way you should actually have it set up is you should have your main cable line from the street go into a 2 way antronix splitter. 1 leg from the 2 way Antronix splitter goes to the cable modem directly and the other leg can go...

    Cleaning up some coax runs

I am going to advise against using cheap radio shack and dollar store splitters, if you actually opened them up ( I have before ) you would see a real difference and also when you put them on a signal meter you see a difference. Also keep in mind that if you do something wrong and somehow mess...

    Wireless signal extender?

I will warn you now that signal extenders while they do exist they are all crap and will half the speed of wifi and are a real bad solution. Look into a Access point instead and run a cable from the access point back to your router.

What crimper would I need for RG58 a/u for Wireless Connector?

Well if you say it had a hole it is probably solder on. Just for reference click here and you can see a pic i took the top one you will see i put a box and arrow to show the solder hole, the second image is crimp on and has no hole at all. I will warn you the image is real big. I hope that...

What crimper would I need for RG58 a/u for Wireless Connector?

I do not see why it would not work assuming the patch cable is made correctly although i have never made a patch cable from anything other then solid core cable.

What crimper would I need for RG58 a/u for Wireless Connector?

I cant really tell from the ebay pictures but that may be solder on center crimp on outer ring you will find out when you get it as the solder on center would have a hole to feed the solder in like shown in the youtube video.

What crimper would I need for RG58 a/u for Wireless Connector?

I though id jump in and answer the pin question quick, The center pin is soldered onto the middle copper then you slide the ring onto the cable and then put the screw on the cable and then slide the ring up and crimp. There are many vids on youtube about this connector and how to do it. Also the...

    Surveillance Camera/Baby Monitor

I cant say i ever have used a trendnet device maybe shinygecko or someone else has and can tell you more about it, the only ip cameras i have used are d-link cameras and they where pure ip camera, also i have no idea how well those will work out without a infared led ring.

Also you can get a device that changes RCA to Ethernet for a ip like camera...
