Running memtest86 for a whole day shouldn't be necessary. I ran it for two hours as another site said to, and I got no errors. So it's not my RAM.

I ran the Prime95 test for 6 hours, and the FurMark test for 5000 seconds. Both I feel are times it should've triggered a lock up. As for testing another card, I don't have another card to test it that's compatible with this hardware, or a computer that has compatible hardware.

Did the hardware tests... failed. Neither one of them locked up. This thing seems to be undetectable to hardware tests. I have already reinstalled Windows and reformatted my E drive. Didn't fix it. And I do have the latest drivers for everything. My CPU temps are normal. And so are my GPU temps.

I wish I posted this thread sooner if I knew what your response was going to be. I never saw so many possible tests I could do for my hardware to see what is really causing this. I'll google these things and see what I can do.

The sound card is brand new. I installed it while the lock up issue was still happening.
