I bought this on a recommendation from a friend during this weekends Steam deal ($28) and I have to say, it is easily one of the best PC games I've played in years. It really is a fantastic overall experience.

Too many tanks to list.
I play pretty frequently. If you start a conversation with me make sure to mention [H], or I'll likely ignore it.
I also tend to go AFK in my garage, but I'll read the message eventually.
I'm in the process of going from an i7 950 (could only get it to 3.8ghz :() to an i7 3770K.
Motherboard should arrive today.
I had a number of bsod's over the last week, mostly due to heat issues. I blame my current motherboard. Anyway, I'm hoping to get up to 4.4ghz or 4.5ghz with the 3770K on...
That's kind of what I was thinking too. 20m over 5 years provides enough capital to employ 40 people at an average of 100k/year. That's plenty of work, but it seems like a rather small amount for the desired results...
Your math is off, but I follow. You would need a wider field of vision for each eye. 360/3 = 120, there is no room for overlap between the eyes while maintaining 360 degree vision. You'd need something like 180 degrees per eye providing 60 degrees of overlap between each pair.
Not sure who you're calling fanboy or why you're suggesting AMD owners "just don't get what this review is about." It's about image quality and performance. AMD owners certainly understand what they are missing out on. There are plenty of side-by-side videos out there showing the different PhysX...
Our definitions of playable are far different. For me a consistent 60fps is playable, 30fps is not. In the review, the "playable" frame rates decided on were from average 44fps to 75fps, which is still 50%-150% higher than 30fps.
The setting is NOT available to everyone though. It's available...
I don't think that's the case. I was able to enable PhysX on my system prior to adding my GTX 660. The frame rate was generally in the teens to twenties range. When I installed the GTX 660, but had not yet configured it for PhysX, the game greyed out my PhysX option. I could not enable it at...
Just adding I have also done this. I found a sweet deal on a GTX 660 and scooped it up for PhysX goodness. There are a few places in game where frames get super choppy, but generally it plays a solid 60fps.
Added a GTX 660 for hybrid physx. Big difference. Pushing 62fps easily with occasional dips to 40s.
Enjoying the game overall, just haven't had much time to get into it yet. Still a lowly level 10.
We have a winner.
Steam provides the infrastructure to download and authorize games. You have the privilege of playing the games.
Cloud is generally used to host data/information that you generated or created. If you don't safeguard it (read: encrypt) prior to sending it to the cloud, they...
This is exactly what I tell people when they ask me about cloud technology.
Is it your data? Do you want to store it on someone else's network? Do you trust someone else to take care of your data? Are you encrypting your data before sending it to the cloud?
Try developing code for more than 20 minutes on a smartphone or tablet. Hell, even a laptop gets uncomfortable after an hour or more.
I agree with some of the statements here, laptops/tablets/smartphones will replace "consumer" level PCs, but workstations aren't going anywhere.
I have a Lowe. I have the entire German TD line in my garage, all Elited. Because I can.
Yes, I spent 10k gold on the "underpowered" 88JT, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. I have had multiple 115k credit rounds in it, so, it is already earning its place. It plays like a bigger slower version of...
I'm still enjoying this game. Starting the French TD tree, just had my first round in the Somua S-40 (Tier 4) and managed 8 kills. I also picked up the 8.8 cm Pak 43 JagdTiger, and that thing prints credits. Lost a round with 57,759 credits received, 13k spent on repairs/ammo. It's good against...
She's also doing the research and connecting the dots in a professional and peer-reviewable manner, which is a major step towards legitimizing what most cognitive gamers already sense to be true. I certainly appreciate her work to define and understand the tangible benefits offered by video games.
Eyefinity works fine. The game supports Full Screen Windowed mode, but Crossfire + Eyefinity does not work in Full Screen Windowed mode, so that could be considered an issue. The game isn't exactly taxing. At 5760x1200 I sit at 60fps; there have been a couple instances where it drops to 50fps...
I had to uninstall all references of AMD drivers through safe mode, reboot, uninstall my video card through device manager, reboot, then install 12.4s. Suddenly everything works.
At least AMD consistently dicks up their drivers.
Anyone else having trouble with setting up Eyefinity on these?
I just installed them and I can no longer create and arrange an eyefinity group.
I create the group, and that comes back, then I go to arrange the group and it pukes.
I get the following:
I run an i7-950 at 3.8GHz all day long, 6 x 4GB memory modules at 1600MHz, with a core voltage of 1.225V
Something is definitely wrong with that. If Intel says they can't help you, I'm assuming the seller knew it was broken.
Tough luck
No, they are not FINE. They work, sometimes without issue, then you upgrade and everything is broken. They are not making progress, they are continually re-breaking the same problems.

I am experiencing this same issue. No overclocking, no afterburner or TRIXX software or anything enabled. It just sets the 2d clocks back to 300/150 which is not enough to drive eyefinity resolution (5760x1200) without flickering. I experienced this issue on my old HD 5970 and ended up...
Had a black MacBook.
Have a 2010 MacBook Pro.
2 first gen Mac Mini's.
Apple Airport EXTREME!
I like their laptops. Mine is modded, SSD and 7200rpm, external usb superdrive or whatever they call it. I wanted an OS X box and the iMini fit the bill at the time.
I didn't play D1 or D2 much/at all.
I own them both, but never got into them.
Been in the D3 beta since october/november "Patch 7" and I like what I have seen.
Pre-ordered it on March 15.
I'm playing the shit out of Titan Quest: Immortal Throne while waiting for D3.
I think they also need to add in a cooldown for leaving warzones before they are finished. I have joined too many where the match is more than half over and I make the 4th player of 4 on the team.
Some classes have an inherent ability to get more medals during warzones. Until that is balanced it needs to be an across the board limit, and I think 4 is fair.
Full disclosure, I can usually hit 7-9 per match, but seeing my friends hitting 4 or 5 because they are straight DPS makes it...
I have no idea what the VRMs are hitting at load, but it's running fine so I'm not too concerned.
Voltage is stock with +20% in CCC.
I have noticed GPU-Z reports anywhere from 1.03V to 1.15V depending on what the card needs.
