Really like AMD's video cards and their support. The last driver update bumping performance up like crazy shows that they stand committed to giving you the most out of their products.
AMD's cards deliver top-tier performance without breaking the bank. Continued support and development in their drivers bringing increases in performance says a lot, too.
Got my two PS3 games about half an hour ago. Only had to hit X two or three times to go through. I don't know if I got lucky, the load is lightening, capacity is increasing or (more likely) people like to complain and exaggerate the issue. Regardless, got my games. I'm holding off another...
I just signed up with netflix last week and have been able to watch on my ps3. I will gladly pay the handful of dollars for instant streaming vs waiting fifteen minutes to an hour every time I feel like watching something.
The 300 is a very nice case for $45. I tend to go for the more minimalist looking cases though and it's nice to see some decent entry-level cases with designs like the 300. I haven't had any trouble with the paint on them either. Also, NZXT has definitely stepped up its game over the last couple...
Newer cases tend to have holes for mounting the power supply either way. Take a look at your case and see if there are a couple of extra holes that you could use if you were to flip the power supply. Otherwise, match up the hole pattern on your power supply and this one to find out which way it...
Those are some nice transfer speeds. I'm always curious how well low-power setups perform :)
I haven't worked with FreeNAS so I'm not sure if it's setup with an ssh server by default, but if you have one set up you can ssh in and copy a file with:
cp /path/to/file/filename...
I need these because I use an old pair of headphones so that I can hear in-game sound better, but everyone hates me for using a webcam mic that broadcasts whatever is playing on Pandora on my girlfriend's laptop. No, I will not push-to-talk.
You can definitely fit 7 dual-slot 480s. You'd just have to ghetto-rig a way to make some of the cards "float."

Thanks for the links, SJetski. I read through the "Official L32S1" thread before placing my order and the negatives that were listed there are not issues for me. I'll be using it with my PC and PS3 with HDMI. I'm especially excited about this for the relatively low input lag for FPS games. I'm...
Thanks for posting the new deal RC30! I saw SJetski's post about this TV in the LG thread which brought me here. Now I'm eagerly awaiting my new monitor :D
Gamestop.com shows this as eligible for in store pickup. So I'm assuming you preorder online for the beta code and pick it up in the store on release day.
The rocket pod looks pretty awesome and the model rocket engines shooting out don't look that bad either.
I'm not sure what the concern is about in where he was launching the rockets. I watched without sound, but aside from the highway it looked like he fired them in abandoned places. One...
I'm pretty sure this stuff was developed by a grad student at the research building I work at. I vaguely remember scoffing at the idea that Coca-Cola was licensing facial recognition algorithms a while ago. Yay for university research reaching mainstream applications!
