Using an nvidia card, this gives me some great results:
On Screen Display: Brightness 26(60) / Contrast 75 / Red 97 / Green 97 / Blue 96
Nvidia Control Panel: Brightness 40 / Contrast 37 / Gamma 0.80 / Digital vibrance 53% (+3%)
I'm having a blast gaming on my 144Hz, super fast fast response, zero BLB, no dead pixel dell gaming monitor. ;)
EDIT: oh yeah, gsync too, you know, for gaming.
I guess there is a bit of inversion on very fast movements. I can't really see it, but some others on overclock.net can see it.
Have a read through the main thread there:

What level did you guys end up after the game? I was almost level 25 after clearing out pretty much every area. I also had an excess of 250 Power points. The game seemed very easy on Normal. I never felt like I was in danger of dying. Maybe once or twice on my first dragon fight, but that's it.
Currently using a Fighter/Knight in the front and Mage/Alchemist in the back. Having a constant full stock of potions is really helpful. I love how the ingredients multiply in your Alchs inventory as you play.
Oh man! This game came out of nowhere for me. I didn't even know it was being made. Definitely going to pick this up. I loved all of the Gothic games and Risen 1. For some reason, Risen 2 just didn't keep me interested.
WTF, I was reading this thread page and saw that they released content on April 17th. I scrambled around wondering what I missed out on...."I didnt know they were releasing new content this month!!"
Turns out it was last year April 17th. gahhhhhhhhhhh

Has anyone ever seen it where NPCs sit sunken halfway down into tavern bar stools? I'm trying to find out if it is a common vanilla bug or caused by a mod I have. Check out this screenshot:

I got lvl80, 100 percent world completion, 400 in two crafts, full crafted exotics. Honestly, haven't played in a few weeks. Never felt a reason to sign on after doing all of that.
Has anyone else lost 50 SILVER pieces by mistake by betting on the 'Cattlepult' in Dessia Plateau? Be careful people, it is really easy to just click through and BAM all of your money is gone.
Personally, I think it is absurd to have such a thing in a lvl 15-20 zone. Everyone adventuring...
I have to say part of it has to do with consoles. I don't think those analog sticks can be accurate enough to take advantage of such a precise feature. And I would venture a guess that the rest of the reason is the popularity of multi-player. I have to think using hitboxes for play over the...
Hold off on the fixes I posted! There is a patch today! THEY ADDED DODGE!!
Features
- Players can now block most attacks by monsters
- Player has a "dodge" move in the fight - double press the arrow keys while holding the right mouse button / goose-mode Y + stick right / left / back to...
I fixed 99 percent of my "flickering" and "popping" by using the configs found in this thread:

Also, it seems there is a fix to the "morphing foliage"...
They created probably one of the most epic story lines in recent memory and just completely abandoned it. Just imagine what they could do with this hanging thread! Old god demon child is born and brings the blight back to the land. I guess they would have to write the game assuming every...
I still want to know how games like The Witcher 2, Mass Effect 2/3, Skyrim, BF3, etc get away with, what seem be VSYNC=ON, but with zero input lag. Especially Mass Effect 2/3. Controls in those games are super crisp and with no screen tearing at all.
I always thought it was a compromise...
Considering my love for RPGs, its almost embarrassing to say I have never played BGI and only played maybe 25% of BGII. I think I will definitely be picking these up.
I wonder how much of a rush it will seem to be? So, the whole time Shepard is out gathering an army, the earth is under attack? How long before the whole planet is decimated? 2 maybe 3 days? Am I to feel guilty if I take Shepard on a meaning less side quest?
I was going to chime in here and say that it felt like Sheppard was "floating" when I was walking around. Is that what you are talking about? It doesnt feel like I am solid on the ground and taking actual strides to move.
