Here we are usualy having triple play services with 100Mb down and more or less 20Mb up for around $50 a month.
for a little bit more( around $90) you get all the triple play services plus 2 mobile subscriptions with 2000min a month and a 200Mb traffic.
But Portugal is a small country...
Well adding my 2 cents to this.
I stopped playing WOW early Cata and returned about a month ago.
MoP is a cool expansion if you like the mix of WOW lore with a bit of asian culture. It has some of the best looking areas in the game and in some aspects it really feels epic. The lore and...
Well that is were the money is for them. You want it? Then you hve to pay big time for it.
I would go for a used system, you can get some really cheap( compared to the price of a new one). But i advise you to do a bit of reaserch on what you needs are because there ara alot of diferent...
Do they have a personal folder on a server? If so you can get the info there. In the Computer Management menu you go to shares and under it you got a Session menu. As long as they have the folder mapped at login, you will see their username and ip/comp there.
a dumb solution but it works
Well the cheapest way i can think of is to remove the DNS server settings from the laptops (so that they cant resolve names) and put a static entry in the hosts file in every laptop to their new site.
that way they can only resolve that name. Its a stupid solution but its the cheapest one i...
well i can only coment on the fist one:
I belive it can be. I've seen some people state that they used Dynamips and VMWare to train for the CCVP and CCIE voice altough i do not know if it is true. I do know that Cisco has (or had) a page explaning how to set up a call manager in VMWare for...
Well if the other side of the Atlantic is overseas enough for ya then at least im in.
Since i only have a 2610 for this is it possible to terminate the IPSec tunnel in a 871 and use the 2610 for the BGP part? Im still at a CCNA lvl so most of this stuff is new to me:D
Edit: Ohhh just a bit of...
Well this looks cool :D

Well im downloading a VM with Olive to test it. Don't know if it's the one with the fix for the network cards but i guess ill find out soon.
With olive it is a router per machine or can u use it for multiple routers in one machine?
Juniper is starting to enter our market but, as usual, there...
Hi all,
I've been wanting to dive a bit into the world of Juniper but i have a question:
What router to chose? i wanted to buy one on ebay but what model?
Well i just got a question on a CCNA Academy prep exam that let me a bit confused
We got 2 switches and a trunk set up between them and on both he native VLAN is VLAN1.
If a packet goes from S1 to S2 via the trunk link, will it go tagged or untagged?
Fios has some nice upload speeds. We are getting some new FO offers here in Portugal, but the max upload is 10Mbits (but the download is 100Mbits).
That 50/50 sounds great
Just look for password recovery cisco on google and it will point you to where you need to go.
Scince that router is a 1841 it is not a fixed configuration router so you can add or replace any WIC cards in there. WIC cards are used to supply diferent WAN interfaces for the router and for DSL...
Hello,
I have a question for any one working with Visual Studio 2005 Pro:
I just went to a company were thy do development and it is a really small company. They have a VS2005 Pro Full Package and they used it to install on 5 computers.
Scince i never worked with Visual Studio my...
We have a client that uses a Fortigate 60B. It has alot of features( many of them paid) but they dont use it( they just use it for nat and to deny some users passage to the web).
Only problem they had was that the first one bricked after about a year of usage.
Great topic XPhil3!!!
In your setup do you use all of the supported models or just a specific one?
I used GNS alot because of the simplicity and the PEMU out of the box.
At one of our clients they have in their campus a site that is 120mts away and what they did was run a 4 pair fibre cable but only used 2 pairs( left the others for backup).
Since they only had a pc on the other end they used a fiber to ethernet converter that lets you plug in the fibre at one...
I think those are the CiscoPro CPA 2509 (at least that is the model i was looking at for the octal)
BTW xphil3 that token ring idea is way too geekish :D
Hi,
Well this is a bit of a dumb question but its one i have to ask.
I have a 3550-24 Cisco switch and i was looking at the PoE version of this model and one question popped into my mind. Does the PoE model have diferent hardware or is it just a diferent psu that enables it for PoE?
Cool never seen a 2k3 in an Atom :D
FIOS has a nice upload with 20Mbps, here in Portugal most of the fiber offers are 100Mbps down and about 6~10 Mbps up.
Err were did you see a 3550-48??
The switch is a 3548 he had and was installed for a relative who asked for his help in setting up a lan.
Doesn't hurt to ask before you post such a comment
That case is really nice and scince it is for your home it is a nice buy.
As for the backplane i saw a few for sale on ebay but you can try to mail norco and ask if the sell a replacement unit for those.
Don't know if the 3548 has the same MTBF (that one is the layer 3 model) but 20 or so years for a switch is nice:D
In a ISP we use they still had some 1900 XL in their hosting datacenter......and those are really old......
