Art, I've got a problem where this monitor will occasionally not wake from standby. The capacitive buttons do not work and a hard computer reset does not wake the monitor. The power plug must be pulled and reinserted. I was able to reproduce it in Linux and Windows using a GTX 960.

It's TN so it can't be meaningfully calibrated.

High CCT is normal for LCD blacks. There is nothing to be done.

NCX, After all these years, when has AG coating caused a real issue? Even the roughest IPS coatings were good enough considering the PPI. It's so down on the list of important factors for a monitor. I'll never understand your fixation with AG.

It isn't strange to me. I've used a PVA monitor for years. Viewing it from under a metre produces a stereoscopic effect on mid tones. LGD simply won and consequently Samsung Display and AUO followed suit.

There's absolutely nothing stopping a reasonably priced 23" 1080p part coming out by LGD. As always I have to restate the importance of efficiency in determining what roles the product can be selected to perform.

Apparently EA uniformity correction is restricted to the two 4K models. The uniformity function is on/off rather than five steps as with PA.

Hi MonarchX, You should use the standard perpendicular viewing direction in the center of the screen. You can view the IDMS for further guidance. There is no mitigation for MVA issues aside from sitting further away.
