Correct. The desk does stick out of the closet, but its really useless space, so it works perfect. The closet runs the lenth of the whole wall, so I still have a small section to use as a closet, again working out great.

I'd recommend using a rocket blower first, lens wipe second, and follow up with a microfiber cloth. I've owned at least 20 lens in the past, and that simple process has always worked.
