Wow wow what? A 620W PSU is definitely not enough. You have two 1TB HDD's and if your CPU is overclocked heavily, that means you are around 80W or more over the 620W posted during that load test benchmark.

GTX285 SLI gives you GTX480 performance on games that support SLI. I would say go for it, but if you can afford it, get a pair of cheap GTX460's, which would give you about 30% more performance.

This is the first time I see the EVGA GTX580 in stock for more than 2 days. The demand has lowered a little bit. I remember that when I got mine a couple weeks ago, they were sold out by the moment I finished my purchase.

I have an SC version and it doesn't come with a backplate. You need to buy the backplate from EVGA. Also, the backplate for the GTX580 has plenty of holes. I decided to pass on this one as it didn't seem like it made much of a difference this time. I had one for the GTX295 btw.

I had a GTX295 which is better than SLI 260 and I would still see some drops and I was not able to max out BFBC2. I would recommend you to sell your current 260 and grab a 6870 if possible.

I was in your same position. I already had a damn good case (Lian Li PC-X500) and I wasn't going to get a new case that wouldn't be as pretty, so I refrained from buying 6970's for CF and instead got a single GTX580. I am going to get a second GTX580 later.
