because I've run them since I started building computers and have never ONCE had an issue with them! I've never been that lucky with any other computer part, ever.
If you have a Sony SXRD TV, that's either broken or don't care, I'd like to offer to buy the serial sticker from you. I owned one, and it had the yellow discoloration, so naturally got rid of the TV.
I didn't realize that certain problems were covered from Sony, and that they are willing to...
The cheapest I've ever seen these drives online is still above 200. I just want theses gone. I have no use for them.
2 still in the plastic packaging. $160/EACH
e-mail me at [email protected], as I am forgetful, and may take a little while to get back to you if you PM me.
Thanks,
Matt
I'm just hoping they call me up one day and tell me they need a random dude, who rarely speaks for some movie with law enforcement. I'll be a background cop! or not a main character. :D
It really is true. The bang for the buck ratio these days is pretty ridiculous compared to what it used to be. I keep looking at electronics and can't believe the prices some of the things are dipping down to.
Self satisfaction. lol. I enjoy getting a clean copy, because my drive with my OS always gets mucked up with tons of random movies, programs, files, etc. I treat it like a spring cleaning, change to start fresh and be organized better.
Start going through the BIOS and shutting down devices that you don't need ( IE: DVDRW, anything, etc. ) and see if it still does it. Gotta start eliminating anything and everything.
No, it's a Sony STR-DE345... I'll be honest, I expected it to sound like crap, but it doesn't. And don't get me wrong, I just haven't wanted to spend the money on something like a denon or yamaha yet, but for college, my setup is very satisfying.
I know what you mean. I switched to nice looking metal ones you'd find at an office, and have never switched back. Always more expensive, but so much better than the cheapo particle board ones.
For older people like that, any HTIB is going to sound much better to them. There are plenty in the 200 range. Check slickdeals, they have been posting a few up every now and then.
Find something older and a little used and it'll be cheap. Heck, I've been using a Sony 5.1 on analog connections, and it sounds pretty darn good. ( Infinity Klipsch 5.2 setup. Infinity Beta fronts, entra rear, with 2 Klipsch subs, (RSW10 and a Synergy 10)
Most people who come over and watch...
Always good when the job has purchase perks! I wish I could get a 50% discount on my car insurance. It's funny, a lot of my coworkers don't even carry the insurance with the company they work for.
I went into our best buy the other day thinking I could gawk at some of the monitors, but I can't believe the selection that is actually in the store. I think there may have only been 15 monitors, and none of them looked very good.
No matter what it seems, if you have SATA the drive in the SATA1 position will get the boot loader for Windows7, so even if you picked the drive to install it on, the one you formatted probably had the boot stuff for windows. Just reinstall it on the new drive with only that one connected.
This...
From now on, whenever installing windows, you had to pull the plug or disable the drives in your BIOS and ONLY have the one you are trying to install to connected. Windows is a real PITA now with the boot record where you don't want it.
I hate how much the cable boxes can add to your bill.. It's amazing how quickly that bill will go up when all you want is surround sound or HD, and they make you get the box.
