Human accelerated climate change is a fact. It's called SCIENCE. I don't know what kind of brainwashing it takes to get people to ignore the truth that is all around them, but you and any other climate denier should be the last people accusing others of being cult members with faith-based...
I used DDU and reinstalled 17.4.2, didn't fix it. DDU again and installed 17.3.3, everything works fine now. Might be a bug with the 290X, my wife's machine has a 390X and works great with CU and 17.4.2. Whenever I get time, I think I'll just wipe it and do a fresh install.
Nice, updated to this shit today and games no longer work. Latest Radeon software installed and reinstalled, but nothing can find a display device even though it's installed and "working". Failed to create a graphics device. Lovely.
I wish they would have kept the Nexus line going. Clean Android, fast updates, good performance, good price. I don't need a $650+ penis extention for a phone, apparently some do.
I think that's what AMD was really aiming for, and they succeeded big time. That's also where the real money is, not the gamer market, people seem to forget that.
Pro-ISIS? Are you for real? This is the nuttiest shit I've heard in a while. Alex Jones should have you on his show. Fucking mind blowing what people believe these days. o_O
DOOM. It's the best game I have played in a hell of a long time. Brings back the same feeling I had playing the original when I was a kid 23 years ago.
I just install the "F6" standalone driver and never had an issue. No need for the RST application. It does give generally better performance in benchmarks over the MS driver, if that means anything.
Damn it, why is the digital download not on sale? Same thing with their Prime 20% off pre-order and new games, physical crap only. I haven't bought physical copies of anything in years, no use for the clutter. Oh well, I'll wait until the next Steam sale. Maybe this will be $20 or less by then.
Yeah, of any possible "WoW" killer that came out, this was the one that had the true potential to do it. I had tons of fun in WAR, despite the problems. The world and factions were perfect, the Greenskins especially. I think things would definitely have turned out differently had EA not gotten...
Preach it, brother! I couldn't agree more. The willful ignorance and flat out stupidity that saturates modern society is truly infuriating. It's like humanity is the "boiling frog", slowly being cooked to death, only we KNOW what's coming. But, the majority of the population either denies it or...
Wow, just wow. The ignorance in that sentence just knocked me out of my seat. Educate yourself about how nasty coal is. And no, Fox "News" is not an educational source.
Damn, I wish these were a closed design. How much noise can be heard outside of these? The whole reason I wear headphones is to not bother others around me. So tempting though.
Same here. I'm a PC gamer all the way, but it sucks for sports games. I want to play Madden and NHL again, and since EA are dicks and won't release PC versions ever again, I decided to get a PS4 just for that.
Good, let it die. This is the price they pay for catering mainly to the ~10% of the subscriber base that raid. You can't give everything meaningful in the game to a tiny fraction of your subscriber base and expect everyone else to stick around when they have nothing worth a fuck to look forward...
Yeah, I have to agree. This is the first game made by Blizzard that I have zero interest in. The Blizzard we knew and loved died when they merged with Activision. It is just a name now.
Let's pretend this is a legit lawsuit, what is to be gained? The legal system is a joke. AMD would take a financial hit they cannot afford. The shitbag lawyers make a few million each. And the actual aggrieved parties get what? A check for $5 in the mail?
Sounds good to me. I have had my 290X for about a year now, and their Windows drivers have given me zero problems. They do have a long way to go with Linux though.
Who funds the studies? A study on the health effects of wireless devices doesn't mean shit if it was funded by a major wireless company, for example. Money trumps everything else in this world, now that is something that cannot be debated.
Beta doesn't mean unstable with regard to these drivers, simply lack of WHQL certification. I've never had an issue with AMD's "beta" drivers. They aren't going to blow up your system, they may actually fix your problem. Don't like them? Just use DDU and uninstall them. Seriously, WHQL doesn't...
This has been my experience as well. My 290X running the monthly "beta crap" from AMD has been flawless for the 10 months I have owned it so far. My wife's system with a GTX 970 and those precious WHQL drivers...... not so great. Her 970 gets the boot tomorrow, to be replaced with a 390X. To me...
Definitely don't go with the MX Blue if there are other people around. I have heard MX Blues in person, in a relatively large, quiet room. If I had to listen to it on a daily basis, that keyboard would be shoved up their ass sideways. It's a very grating sound after awhile.
I ended up...
Looks good, but I will hold my excitement until I see what features actually make it in. They always cut something. Then, it remains to be seen if they learned from the horrible mistakes of WoD. If this will be another "raid, or don't bother logging in" expansion, my wallet will remain closed.
Just something to try, but close or even uninstall Afterburner. For me, ever since first installing Catalyst 15.5 or later on Windows 8.1, running Afterburner causes all games to stutter every 4 seconds or so. Looking at the graph in Afterburner, my clock speeds would drop and spike. The same...
No need to get snippy. I should have mentioned I was offline during install, Win 10 does not have a built-in Killer NIC driver, so there was no during-install updating. My point was that even with driver updates explicitly disabled PRIOR to any Windows Update of any kind, it still went ahead and...
It kind of works, at least for me. I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, didn't install any drivers, disabled automatic driver updates and then ran Windows Update. Windows Update still tried to install drivers for all of my hardware, so I did a restart before it could finish. Once back in...
Anyone get "ATI EEU PnP start/stop failed" errors in their event log? I didn't get these until I did a clean install of Windows 10, now there is two of these errors every reboot.
