Thanks guys.
I've enabled "Load Line Calibration".
@Ryland, I too am thinking of following Bill's advice and hitting that 3.2 "sweet spot."
I will post results after some adjustments and testing.
Best of luck!
Hi all. Good thread for me. I am attempting to get my Q6600 to 3.20 on a GA-P45-UD3P.
I wanted to again ask a question that BigBeef posed a couple pages back but I don't think was answered.
There is a setting in M.I.T. called "Load-Line Calibration"
********* Motherboard Voltage Control...
I think I know the answer to this but I just want to make sure.
The P180 comes with a ton of screws in a bag. Within that bag is a smaller bag labeled MB USE ONLY.
These are the screws I use to mount the MOBO to the standoffs, right?
Thanks.
Hi.
I'm in the process of installing an Intel Q6600 with a Zalman CNPS9700 LED cooler on a GIGABYTE EP45-UD3P.
I have Articlean 1 and 2 along with Arctic Silver 5. Do I need to use either Articlean 1 or 2 on the Zalman?
My primary question is do I need to apply Artic Silver 5 to both...
Check out the new Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA. There's been a lot of discussion about it around here. Apparently, it features a much better panel as opposed to the cheap TN panels that are used in so many 22" widescreens.

Retailing for $299 US before...
It is indeed available in the U.S. Check out the Tech Specs tab on the product page. Interesting that they have removed the "Panel Type:" spec.
The mystery continues. $299 US seems like a really good deal. Too good??? :D
The 2208WFP is indeed TN. Dell Specs. Also listed as TN at TFT Central.
The 2209WA claims to feature something called an "eIPS" panel, which it seems nobody has heard of before. However, that CNET review is very positive. Hope some more reviewers get their hands on it so we can learn some more...
Hi.
I purchased an EVGA 256-P2-N761-TR e-Geforce 8600 GTS 256mb Video Card. Yes, I know it's not the latest and greatest, but it's what I've got for my first build.
Here's my question: I'm planning on purchasing a widescreen 22'' (IPS or MVA) display which features a 1680x1050 native...
Okay, that makes sense. But, I have a couple more questions:
1) Why in the world did DELL stop selling the 2007WFP?
2) If the 2209WA will in fact cost around $300 US, then can somebody explain to me why the DELL UltraSharp 2007FP costs $439 US?!? --especially since it seems you have to get...
Some info about the 2209WA from TFTCentral.co.uk posted today.
Still seems to be some mystery surrounding this new offering.
It just seems hard to believe that what appears at this point to be a pretty nice product will be in the $300 US price range.
@Yelnats - Thanks for the reply.
Found another review for the upcoming Dell 2209WA from ZDNet Australia. They seem to thing the lack of 1:1 pixel mapping is a drawback.
I'm confused  (as usual). Can somebody clarify the 1:1 pixel mapping issue?
Also, the article states the...
The upcoming DELL is intriguing, however it does not feature 1:1 pixel mapping.
Can anybody tell me whether or not the HP LP2275w features 1:1 pixel mapping? And, as long as we're on the subject, do the HP LP2065 and DELL UltraSharp 2007FP feature 1:1 pixel mapping?
Thanks again for the info.
Thanks Jaguar.
I wasn't even aware of this monitor. Those are some very positive reviews. However, I have also read about various issues with this monitor on this forum as well as early reviews on newegg.
The Prad review includes the following:
Appendix 14/11/2008:
"The monitor...
Okay, I need to make decision on which lottery to play, the HP LP2065 lottery or the DELL UltraSharp 2007FP lottery.
But first, I should ask if either of these choices is even a lottery anymore or am I pretty much guaranteed to get an MVA panel?
Has anybody had recent success in actually...
That's some dubious news about the Seagate 500GB 7200.11, Unfortunately, I ordered it well over a month ago when it was on special. So, I guess I'll have to wish for the best when I do my build.
<<fingers crossed>>
Thanks for the advice Danny.
I've decided to go with the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail ($117 after rebate) - looks like it will do the job just fine...
I apologize for not being as up-to-date to mention X58 as opposed to 45. All I'm asking is whether or not the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS4P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard is compatible with the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor.
If there...
Simple question (I hope!) GIGABYTE MOBOs now seem to be in their '45' stage:
Are the following products compatible with each other?
