*Furious fapping*
Now if they managed to release 400-600W psu's with similar dsp controlled design... might be hard to coax Flextronics to produce low-end consumer psu's...
I made the same move last year. P180 is clearly outdated design-wise, altough the silicone grommets in HD cages are pro compared to Silverstone. I had to build a separate server PC for my mechanical HD's using my old P180 because Raven02's hdd cage is worthless - only good for SSD's...
Probably Silverstone. 3x 18cm fans keep a nice positive pressure inside the case, pushing dust out from every hole instead of sucking it in. The fan filters are OK too.
Edit: I have Raven02 which has similar interior layout, and there's basically no dust inside after 7 months of usage.
No idea, probably. Maybe the game .ini config variables are same too :-D
The game loads nearly instantly though if you don't count Bethesda logo at start. Something nice comes when games are based on ancient technology.
Console. press § (above tab) ingame and type fov {number}
I think default is 70 or so. I don't like the "wide angle" effect wider fov brings so I use 75 in games.
Is there some way to disable the "HDR" effect?
I mean when you look around the lightness (exposure) of image changes from dark to light to dark to light to dark to.... It's like shooting video with a cheap automatic digital video camera. Looks very silly in my eyes >_>
Maybe it depends on backlight brightness. I have mine on 0 and haven't had any problems with color uniformity or backlight bleed. Or maybe I just got lucky with the panel lottery :-) The display is calibrated with Spyder 3.
Edit: The panel feels certainly loose when the display is cool and...
I mainly play games and edit photos with my W3000H.
The anti-glare coating is clearly visible and it might annoy some people. I've been using the display since February and the coating doesn't bother me that much. Of course it would be nice if they had applied less of it, but I suppose one...
LG W3000H probably has low input lag too since it doesn't offer any features except brightness adjustment.
I've been using mine for five months but I haven't measured the input lag since it doesn't seem to be a problem.
Because the blue led is very bright and annoying. There are 4 buttons in the left part of front panel:
Brightness down, brightness up, notification sounds on/off, power led on/off.
I have the power led light turned off because the monitor gives the option to do so.
The photo is taken in normal conditions, meaning the conditions I use the display all the time.
The spot in the display is a REFLECTION OF LIGHT FROM MY WHITE T-SHIRT.
As you can see, you're really hard pressed to see *any* light leaks under normal lightning conditions.
I have been using my LG for over two months now, and never looked back. My old 19" was simply tiny compared to this.
Colors are great, so are black levels etc. Nothing really to complain. Except lack of wide gamut support in Windows.
Using color managed software (Firefox, Pohotoshop, Acdsee...
I've been playing some games like Mirror's Edge, World of Warcraft etc. on 2560x1600 and they run just fine, at least without AA.
And that's with $150 Radeon 4850. If you have money for a 30", then getting a $300 card to run the games shouldn't be a big problem.
GTX 295.

4870 runs extremely hot and makes loads of noise with reference design. If you are going to buy ATI, consider a quieter card with different cooling solution.
I suppose the issues with blacklight bleeding and sparkling are mostly related to people using the display in unlit/very poorly lit rooms.
In normal, brightly lit office/etc. rooms they should not be a problem.
Someone in OC.UK forums has said that Hazro's products have warranty only in UK and Hazro products should not be sold outside UK..
At least I wouldn't take the risk, since looking back at all the hardware I've bought, it's probable that the display will have issues during warranty time.
