OP, if it really bothers you then I would say go ahead and exchange for another one. However, please keep in mind that there is no guarantee that the next one won't have the same screen non-uniformity. Worse yet, it could be plagued by dead pixels, which imho, is worse than (minor) screen...

I guess we have Samsung to thank for making some people believing that an LED flat screen is somehow no longer an LCD. Heck, I bet you a fraction of these people don't even know what "LED" and "LCD" stand for. ;)

10e, PC mode is available for the PS3 over HDMI but I remember vaguely the last time I tried it, the overscan actually got worse. Let me try switching the LG to PC mode again the next time I fire up my PS3 and get back to you on this later.

My PS3 when connected to the L246W via HDMI also has problem with overscan. If you go to www.tigerdave.com and download the 1920x1080 test pattern, you will see that the overscan on this monitor is about 2% to 3%. I did try to look through this entire thread for possible fixes to this problem...
