Oh
Does a big number of people have drivers issues? IDK, I had none. Just removed existing drivers from my system, uninstalled my R9 390, put the 5600 XT in, install new drivers...everything is fine
Ok thank you guys. I'm back with some good news.
Updated BIOS to the latest available BIOS in MSI's website, after 3 power-up's the PC never got stuck at POST! In fact, it now boots like 60% faster!
Also, I went ahead and got a Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 CPU Cooler. My CPU runs 20c lower when on...
Alright cool. Thank you, guys.
A new PSU it is.
Any specific budget cooler for the CPU? I noticed it runs hot. In fact, it was running funny hot when I stressed it after building the rig. The thing was running 92c at 100% usage. Thats 3c before it hits temp limit! It also runs like high 50s...
Hi guys
Hope ya'll are doing well.
My Maximus VII Hero just passed away, and I thought it couldn't be a better time to upgrade as the 3rd gen Ryzens just came out.
So I went and got a 3rd gen Ryzen setup:
Win 10 home
MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus
Ryzen 5 3600(stock cooler)
G.SKILL Ripjaws V...
I would say all these problems are normal with new releases..Looking back at the release of Vista & then Windows 7, everyone had similar issues. They'll all be fixed eventually :D
Did you try disabling the card's HDMI ?
For me I had the same problem with my 6850, once I installed the HDMI drivers, sounds went off...
I donnu if this could help but your problem could be similar to mine.
I tried!
Hi guys, a friend of mine just bought this laptop which I find some how weird, because even ASUS doesn't have it listed in their website!
I tried looking everywhere in google, I found absolutely no reviews of it. I only found a few sites that sell it and most of them say it's a discontinued...
Yeah I'm guessing AMD is concerned about power and heat, hence the highest base clock has the lowest turbo core frequency...I so wanna see one of these get OC'ed so [H]ard!
It's not the frequency you're clocking to that matters, the voltage it is...
So as long as you don't go over 1.55v with a good PSU you'll be fine, even if you went 4GHz+
These Athlon II's do good OC-wise I've heared and I'm seeing it right now from you :D.. I have a few PC's that I gathered for my Dad's office, I like them
You can still go for max vCore if you're not maxing out your heat limit(62c by AMD, but you can go til the CPU throttles down on it's own)...But then every CPU has it's limits in OC'ing, so don't expect to get what other's have gotten.
I wouldn't trust these korean brands >.< not with any other products from Korea either so..I wouldn't risk using it with anything, components could be that cheap enough to blow up your stuff :D
@SicKlown42012: They've removed the limit and put them back now on the latest version, but I still use the older one because there is no limit on how far you could push the chip, unlike the latest version.
Overdrive is good actually...I still use it with my 965...
All I know about the 1090T is that AMD updated OverDrive after the release of the new 6-cores, giving new features such as Turbo Core control I think and stuff so I think yeah it's still suggested.
Hi guys, I'm at the end of a new system, just need to make sure that this PSU will run the system with no difficulties...No plan for OC or anything crazy btw:
Intel Core i3 540
ASUS P7H55-M PRO LGA 1156
Mushkin 4 GB (2 X 2GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz Silverline
Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 1GB...
