The last time I was in a store near the PC software section, it just had Win7 boxes that didn't contain a disk, just a code to download it from Microsoft's website. So I don't really think it matters to have a hard copy anymore for the masses.
Back when XP released, I was a Win2k user and absolutely hated XP. I'm still surprised at how long the OS lasted, although I do believe the netbook did delay the inevitable death of XP. I actually only use Windows for gaming, I'm usually in my Linux partition 90% of the time.
I live in a f'in desert with cats and long haired dogs in my house and my systems never get that bad. I clean the filters in my rig weekly and spray the heatsinks on the wife's computer clean about every two weeks. Her system is actually passively cooled with those big ass heatsinks in my sig.
Thats the exact reason the US Military no longer allows us to connect any flash device to a Govt. computer system. It was discovered that some flash drives had spyware installed into the hardware when it was manufactured.
Upload them to photobucket if you want a completely online experience with resizing. I don't personally use this method but I think it's what you're looking for.
Mine have never failed on me and I bought them both last year (Jan 2010) from performance-pcs. Others have complained of issues with reliability.
At least at the egg they may sell more volume and can afford to put more money into their R&D to improve products. But a lot of their other...
Good lord!
If I replaced all my quiet Noctua and Noiseblocker fans with those things, my ambient case temps would probably drop 20* C. In fact, it may be at room temp with that much air movement.
I'm on my 2nd playthrough with my Soldier (51) and 1st with Siren (31) and the game is still pretty fun. I have yet to even try co-op yet. Maybe I should, I just assumed people would have the WoW attitude about stealing people's gear for their own personal glory.
You can either clear coat it to bring back the shine, or start with some fine sandpaper, probably 1000 and work your way up to 2000 grit to said the finish smooth. Then you can always buff it with a polishing compound and it'll be shiner than the one above. I would recommend removing the...
I used automotive flat black. I also scuffed the aluminum with a scotch bright pad and thoroughly cleaned the surface with alcohol prior to painting. I went through an entire can on my case, about 4 layers worth of paint.
If the price drops to $300, I may consider replacing my A05 with this. I know, I know...my case has a cult like following and I'm sure I just committed a cardinal sin.
To add about their customer service. I had one of my 120mm Noctua fans die on me, I sent them the RMA request and a screenshot of my invoice, and they sent me a brand new 120mm fan free of charge as a replacement. They also did not require me to mail the broken one in.
I had the same thing happen to a G11 keyboard...just after it's warranty expired. Logitech was willing to sell a replacement at a discount, but I just decided to go mechanical.
If aesthetics don't matter to you, here's a supermicro board that actually has onboard audio. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813182165 Can't go wrong with server quality and intel integrated lan ports.
I've owned both and agree. I didn't notice a FPS difference in COD:MW or MW2 between the two cards. It was a little heartbreaking to know a card I spent $430 on is on par with a $100 card I bought for my wife's SFF system a few years later. At least it shows us how far along GPUs have come in...
This is the frustrating thing about looking at a used 480, and from my understanding, Gigabyte and Asus do not need a receipt to do an RMA, which is a little less frustrating. However I hear people saying their RMA services take up to a month. I'm not too sure about MSI, Galaxy etc. I do know...
My wife liked the idea of SFF for her gaming rig, but she said she didn't need anything as powerful as I use. Since she rarely plays anything except The Sims 3 on her pc. The little rig in my sig plays it rather nicely, and the GT240 is a bit underrated, It was expensive, but it fits in a Q-07...
