I need a laptop for low grade gaming, programing and internet.
It doesn't need more then 4-6 hours of battery life and a 10inch screen size more or less, I am not looking for the most expensive best ultraportable but his handyman budget counterpart priced around 500$.
Bosses also lost their character, games now days let you fight random big dudes that you know nothing about them, what happened to games developing the characters of those to be in the boss fight?
I think that the best boss fights come from games that have lots of tools to interact with the world, like zelda and mgs, dmc or shadow of rome type of games rely more on timing attacks and when to avoid.
When most of the FPSs atm go for a cinematic feeling with the only way to interact with the...
I can understand the issue with far cry 2, when ubisoft came to one of their studios and said make a far cry game and they did something entirely unrelated and just sold it as far cry 2.
But this is the same studio working with their idea, so lets say that they wanted to make a cool open world...
A different location has different environmental challenges that require a different characters skills, it's that simple.
Tommy supposedly has some part in the story, you just don't get to play him, big whoop.
It's a sand box fps that's a squeal to a linear fps, I think that having one linear...
Example of a stupid use of ip= far cry 2
Developers building upon their game universe, expending it=prey 2
Wth did you expect them to do in prey 2 anyway? another game with tommy in a sphere? that's so original bro.
3d realms are gone, closed forever, the old staff that was on dnf is polishing the game at gearbox.
Scott Miller has opened Radar Group as a game publisher company but in a friendly supportive way and not as tight executive greedy assholes, although there hasn't been any news from it for the...
I think that they seriously handicapped themselves by not releasing a demo, the concept sounds really cool but alot of people who might like the current version got the old undone-much worse looking beta version in their heads(including me).
Also I don't see any reviews in gaming sites, they...
I have been playing dow2 since it was out, I have read and I am still reading 40k books.
Relic might not be a perfect developer but I am sure that they will make something interesting, not ideal feature wise or super polished, but I trust in them it will be worth playing.
In the books most of...
Do it sober, and one of the things that work with anything scary is adjusting the room temperature, try opening the window letting in a chill breeze enchanting the horror you are about to feel.
Why the hell do you turn down the game so fast, it's supposed to be a game about a human character in an alien world, that's more original then any alien-man shoot game since i donnu 1999, at least watch some footage before beginning to bitch about how much this game sucks.
And don't quote me on...
I like scary games, but this topic is about scary MOMENTS, well there was that one part in hl opposing force where you had to go down into a sewer with those huge freaking things that rape you with 2 hits or 1 shot, it was so dark that I had to use my night vision but the night vision has a view...
It feels pure and with substance, it's a sandbox with side quests and shit to collect, the movement and action are simple and sync kills are satisfying, moving through the city doesn't feel like a tedious chore , the missions are always somehow varied and I was actually impressed by the city views.
So I am assuming that there is no official PP fix yet, I am disappointed because I wanted to play the ranked-levels mode with normal performance, but no I still can't. :(
Where is the hook in playing a shitty cod4 (not that good by itself) ripoff in an again shitty tom clancy scenario?
It's like taking away the dumb bulky marines and violence from gears of war and then making all the greys and browns you are left with even worse by stamping it with a lulz...
Great just as not too long ago i was thinking again where the hell is prey 2, nothing has been heard from it all this years.
The first game wasn't mined blowing as a shooter but the art design and setting were interesting enough to make me replay it, looking forward for more info and media.
Everyone likes sequels to games that they like as long as they are a tad better, the reason why it might seem like people don;t like them is because the industry believes there is more potential success in squeals then original IPs, so we end up each year with nothing really new just the...
2 of those are niche games
1 is only for people with a pc that supports dx10
Miror Edge is only unique AAA title for the masses and tbh the execution of the idea wasn't that AAA.
I wanted to say fc2 when i saw the title and it was in the first comment :D
I remember that turok had awesome trailers and the only gameplay footage was from the only level in the game that wasn't linear, that and the game sure sucked.
lol i didn't want to bring in crysis vs fc2 vs stalker what i meant is that crysis wasn't exactly a realistic shooter and it had more options->cooler tools to approach different situations, the maps were big enough to roam free in them and make an attack plan before approaching anything but it...
Those are exacly the areas where the game rocked, it was an awesome sand box game with good pacing, amazing open enviroments and nano suit mechanics that made the open world gameplay more fun then lets say fc2 or stlaker standart shooter action.
If you don't like crysis then gtfo this thread...
As badass as it looks, always question, and unless I will try it I won't buy it blindly based on a trailer, I realy wish they wouldn't have went with the dumb one platform exclusive demo route :(
Both of the games contain scripted events and a linear story but they both have enemies that patrol non linearly and soundtracks that are not some scripted shit that's bound to the line you are walking on like lets say in dead space, when you play those games you can't predict when the enemy...
