I'd prefer a P55 chipset, but I'll check out what offers come in, school starts up again Monday and I'd really like to get my computer back up and running ASAP...
no, it's older than two years and out of warranty (plus I bought it on [H]ere anyway), the loss of the video card sucks and is basically just an expensive ($170) lesson learned...that's what I'm taking from this...
just so people know, the hoses weren't what leaked, it was the actual block...
sound card has been revived with isopropyl alcohol, so the video card stands as the only casualty, I've taken it apart and have been giving it isopropyl treatment as well but with no positive results, I still get the 2E error code (no video output) on my P55 GD80...
yeah, the more it dries out the better (I also cleaned the affected parts off with rubbing alcohol), it had been booting intermittently to different stages all day and I'm finally booted up and posting [h]ere on it, although I did have to plug in my spare 4870 in place of the 6850, which may be...
I was playing MW3 and suddenly my computer shut off, I opened it up and something was dripping on my video card...the Coolit ECO ALC was leaking, I uninstalled it, installed an air cooler, and powered my system back on but it won't power on...
I am hoping the liquid is non conductive and that...
meh, I don't really see where all the hate comes from, it's just a game, I tried it during the free weekend and about 30% of the time, I like it every time, that said, there are obviously waaaay too many hackers running around with aimbots and wallhacks, that much is obvious, it's a shame, if...
this is why I've stuck with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for so long, everyone starts out the same when the game begins and you get rank and weapons based on your skill...
bit because it was $5, it's been enjoyable (some SP and Spec-Ops with my son so far), I played MW and WaW before this years ago and they werew also enjoyable and I helped my son get a Spec-Op he'd been trying to get, pretty fun and definitely worth $5...
don't know why everyone is ragging on...
lol, I Googled the screen name (it's pretty unique), I wonder if that internet dating profile is him, does he live in Colorado...? maybe get some info off there...?
:)
I have no problem with it, but just like everything in life "feedback for freebies" can easily be abused, you could have someone piecing together heat a little bit at a time at very low cost (or even free), building up his heat as a "seller", and then using his cheaply acquired heat to scam...
I have audio in WMP, Media Player Classic, and any other offline player, I have audio in IE, but I don't have any audio in Firefox, I've Googled the problem and have tried everything and nothing works, it's the only application where I don't have any audio, I've used Firefox for years and now...
my point is that trying to be an internet tough guy really makes you look like a tool, it's not hard to understand that "you're wrong" gets the same point across without looking like such a jackass...
it's dual channel if you pair it with another stick, and it's triple channel if you get three and your motherboard supports triple channel DDR3, I don't really see what the question is here...? all RAM is listed as SDRAM, whether it's DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM, etc...
the only problem with the HAF 912 imo is teh lack of fans, IIRC it only comes with one, I think some of us just figure that everyone has spare case fans laying around (like we do), so if you have a few spare fans it's a great case for the $, if you don't it adds the cost of finding some...
it doesn't sound "odd" at all really, it just sounds like this isn't the perfect psu, the part that should encourage you to buy it is that not one of the negative comments is about the quality of the psu, just the amount of cables, if you have a case with good cable management options there...
yep, with regards to bitcoin mining it's pretty much go ATI/AMD or go home, I didn't really have the funds to keep mining when the difficulty increased a while back, so I gave up, money is tight and I can't afford any increases in my bills while going to school and getting unemployment...
it...
anyone doin' teh ixcoin thang...? a friend of mine got about 5 times the amount of BTC he would've gotten in the same amount of time while doing this, pretty much like in the beginning of the namecoin branch off (difficulty is still low)...
I'm just guessing here, but what I got out of DooKey's post was pretty much this...
why would anyone make that trade...? it would be idiotic for them on the bitcoin end, and MUCH more favorable for you (you would be getting at least 150% more hashing power and cash on top of that...?)...
anyone have any experience buying these discounted products from Amazon...? supposedly they're like open box returns, no...? I bought some JVC HA RX900s from there and am trying to guess what kind of condition they'll be in...lol, I buy open box/dented box stuff all the time and have usually had...
CL is where the deals are, I have too much stuff from there to even list, but a few are a Corsair HX620 for $30 IIRC, an Antec 300 with 3 extra fans, all the accessories for $40 and a "fried" i7 860 for $20...
the i7 860 is a hilarious story, a while back I saw an i7 Dell XPS system for $80...
so I put it here since my rig is basically my home theater...
I haven't been able to watch ESPN videos for a while now, it just shows the red loading circle...
the funny thing is that the advertisement videos on ESPN.com play fine...
I have pretty much quit bitcoin mining and am getting rid of my main mining card, it gets a little more than 360MH/s and stays around 60° at around 99% load with the fan at 60% although YMMV...
$150 shipped (in a XFX6850 box) and yes, it is registered so the warranty will be transferable...
yeah, that pic was already debunked as a joke, the earlier pic with the 100+ 5770s would've cost $10,000 and given 3x the production of those 50 gtx580s...
