Pretty impressive. While I like Linux more, it won't suit me until they get their gaming act together. I'll be wherever the games are. In the meantime, I've installed Windows 10 a long time ago, and it has been working fine ever since. I actually like it more than Windows 7, because it is faster...
It goes without saying, but work sucks, and humanity would be better off if we didn't force it on everyone in the way that we do. Clearly, it doesn't work, and leaves us with a system where some people do what they want, and others demean them because they are secretly sick of their own lives...
Honestly, it sounds like more people fucking up on their own. Either not installing correctly, not uninstalling previous versions, or not adjusting the settings after install. AMD gets the blame, when people are most likely just being the idiots they always are.
^This. 100%. We need to do away with data caps in every respect that it is possible to do so. *Hands baton off to someone who can actually get it done*
Been running Windows 10 for a couple weeks now. Seems to work fine.
Really want SteamOS.
I have a feeling a lot of people will be sitting on Win7 for a good bit.
Seriously. Thinking Firefox is looking pretty good right about now. You can disable this stupid feature, and if you read the TorrentFreak article it will tell you how, but still... This is a bad move on Google's part, and enough to make me think twice about using Chrome.
Indeed. After the drivers mature things will be different. I believe that is the biggest point missing from this review. Other than that, a good review, and a disappointing initial showing from AMD.
I'm pretty sure this is going to be a non-issue overall though, because the Fury X is sold...
Second horrible thing I've read about Australia today. The other was their insanely high taxes. The Fury X is going to be close to $1,000 in Australia. Yeah... That place sounds like it sucks. Plus, they are horrible about internet privacy.
Intel being Intel again. What? Made a deal with Oregon? Time to fire all the Oregon employees and hire out-of-country workers for pennies on the dollar.
Support AMD and help fight this madness.
