Hmmm. both NewEgg and B&H have the Seagate 3TB for about $180 shipped ($169.99) right now. So for a pair, for me in WA there's a ~$27 savings over the WD. Also, the GoFlex has a 2-year warranty. (Search google shopping for "Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 3TB")

Thanks, I was thinking that too, but the photo of the cheaper drive shows the cable and such. I noticed the TD vs MWave thing too but I was just concentrating on getting a damn drive ordered! :) MWave is good on resellerratings so... I see in the Newegg thread that the price for the 80GB 320...

:p :) I went for the cheaper of the two 80GBs on MWave. Total was ~$41 cheaper ($168-$70 vs $140) than Amazon's current price, all-in, and assuming the rebate happens. Good enough for me.

Thanks guys, neither of these were the company I was thinking of though. I will check out Mountain Mods. The case I'm thinking of was aluminum, and had natural finish (or clear-coated) if I remember right. It was a very small case, and used a hinged design where the major structures of the case...
