Picked it up today after hearing mostly good things. I quit towards the end of WotLK, and have been enjoying myself for the hour or 2 I've played so far. Still getting used to all the changes, but so far so good.
I grabbed one mostly for remote play, and to play some vita games. No netflix, hulu, etc atm. Going to see how bad remote play is over wifi. I hope it's playable, I hate fishing ethernet through walls.
Oops. Didn't mean to play that long today. I usually need to play a civ game to lose an entire day. The extreme offroad vehicles are crazy. I collected a few head 2 head bounties against some crazy fast cars in a Bowler. 160mph offroad is too much fun.
The 2tb Samsung F4 is now available @ newegg for the low price of $229.99 + $7.28 shipping. My server picked a wonderful time to have it's drive fail. The cheapest 500gb drive is over $100 after shipping at newegg.
Yeah the steam key notice wasn't there when I bought @ $2.03. Paypal worked fine. It let me do a bank transfer or use one of the cards associated with my account. Also Gemini Rue is on Steam. It just came out today.
Will the Summera computer holder mount underneath the desk to desks other than the Galant? I see from the instructions that it can mount to the top of a desk, but then you have the computer extended out to the left or the right of the desk. I'm looking to get a Fredrik, and if it won't mount to...
Is there a drastically different design philosophy/process between the GPU division and the CPU division that might explain the success of one vs what seems to be the failings of the other? There's been 3 great GPU series in a row (4k, 5k, 6k) with 3 lackluster CPU families (Phenom, Phenom II...
So $180 for the MSI board mentioned in the Chinese site and CPU. That sounds a hell of a lot more interesting than bulldozer at this point if the overclocks can be duplicated. Hell, I almost want to sell my x6 and AM3+ board and give it a shot.
I'd use either the Platimax 850 or maybe something with a little less power like the MODU87+ 700w since I am planning on a crossfire eyefinity setup on my next build.
That kotaku article is absolutely fucking retarded. This was particularly funny:
Yep, because we all know AMD's mobile gpus are all slower than Intel's integrated video or the GT555m (the blade has nvidia optimus so it can switch between the two gpus). I wouldn't want something like...
cgminer is great. My 6850s picked up 15MH/sec and my 5770 picked up 10MH/sec when I made the switch a while ago. I should probably update the clients since I'm sure theres been improvements since whatever the hell I am running.
Won't know til Friday, haven't had a chance to get to the range yet. Anyways to get back on subject, my board should be back from MSI on Friday. Think I can run an i7 930 @ stock, a hdd, 3x2gb of ram, 2 overclocked 6850s and an overclocked 5770 off an antec earthwatts 650? I think it might be...
