I had the same thing happen years ago with a MSI 8600GTS. I ended up replacing it with a EVGA GTX 260FTW card that I ran in the same system for four years with no other hardware changes and never had any more problems.

As a pure gaming video card I see no longevity for this card at all. You might get two years out of it if you either game at resolutions below 1080p or are willing to turn down a lot of settings. Very disappointing. Looks like I will be waiting for the refresh of cards before I upgrade my GTX...

I should ad that when I first started playing I would seem more summon signs but every time I tried to summon it failed. I am now using DSCfix and I rarely see a summon sign, but once I was able to summon another player (not an NPC).

Is there a command in Windows 7 that would force TRIM to manually run? I know how to enable/disable TRIM, I just can't figure out if there is a way to force it to clean everything out.

I played Demon's and Dark Souls on the ps3 and never played online and it worked just fine. I just turned off the wifi on the ps3. I wanted the single player experience and didn't want to deal with being invaded.

Surprisingly my 470 has always run cooler than the 260. Both have stock coolers. Both were used in the same computer case as well, granted the 470 runs at stock speeds and the 260 was the over clocked FTW edition.
