Ramdisk and SSD secure erase features are really great. No need to get those 3rd party ramdisk softwares anymore! I'm really digging the new BIOS layout as well. Very ROG-esque and definitely sets it apart from the rest. I also like the addition of mPCIe wi-fi card.
I've been a big fan of...
I'm sure Jacob at EVGA knows exactly what other vendors such as MSI and Gigabyte are up to because he reps all those companies, obviously.
There are several sources stating that Nvidia has green lighted custom PCB's for Titan. Time will tell if it's true or not. Again, CeBit is only a few...
Nice. I'm willing to wait out a little before I put some cash down. Would love to see some custom Titans that OC like hell.
Most of us already know what Nvidia initially stated when Titans were first released. This info isn't anything new.
Yes, definitely.
I still use browsers such as Chrome or IE, but my main is FF. I don't know how easy it is to customize all the other browsers, but I have set up FF just to my liking with 22 extensions and some visual changes.
The only feature I wish they add to it is the ability for each...
Obviously, I know this. I only recommended the other work around because he stated he could not get the receiver to recognize the HDMI input from the computer.
If you read the earlier post before he figured out the solution, he stated that he had no sound after connecting the HDMI straight...
Don't already have audio connected to the receiver from the HDTV? If not or if your HDTV doesn't provide this option, you could always run a separate audio cable to the receiver. I would go with an optical cable if you have one lying around.
I find your comment condescending. You should refrain from posting how much you make and how you feel about people who make less than you. Btw, just so that you know, I'm in the above 50k a year bracket but I still find your comment somewhat offensive. And yes, I'm somewhat contradicting...
Perhaps you should elaborate your point better than just simply stating that it's the same as Ares II.
While I agree that it's a special card, it's not that "special" in the same context as Nvidia's compute cards used for rendering. If that's the case, I doubt EVGA and ASUS, who are only...
Um, no. It is quite different from Ares II. First of all, it's a single GPU solution. Secondly, the Titan is officially released by Nvidia itself while Ares II is an ASUS only product.
Sounds like unlocking the core voltage will be up to the board partners according to Guru3D.
The GeForce GTX Titan is designed to be overclocked. Nvidia has received a lot of heat when they started limiting voltages. Obviously they have done so in order to prevent high RMA rates. For GeForce...
Of course the GTX 690 beats out the Titan. It's two slightly crippled GTX 680's vs one gpu. However, from what I've seen so far, GTX 690 has about avg of 10% performance advantage over the Titan. That is pretty incredible considering it's two GPU's vs one.
We must have been to very...
If you don't like the product for whatever the reason, then don't buy it. It's simple as that. They are plenty of people who will buy these regardless if it's $800 or $1000 due to the fact that it's the new king of single GPU platform.
This card isn't marketed to those that are looking for...
I feel like the crackhead from Dave Chappelle Show due the amount of upgrade itch Titan is giving me.
I do feel the price for entry is bit high, but if you put Nvidia's previous flagships into perspective and consider how much those things cost back then (GTS 8800 Ultra was $800+ 6 years...
Monster Hunter games bring out the worst in me. I've thrown my psp when playing MH1 and thrown my PC controller playing MH3 on the PC via Dolphin Emulator.
They're intact since I throw them on the bed, lol.
So you are agreeing that you think that tentacle porn is advertised on Japanese TV? Lol.
Anyway, if you first post was supposed to be funny and filled with sarcasm, you failed miserably.
