When trying to set up my new wii to the internet, it asks for the wpa key. When I log into my router the wpa key is not fully shown, it just shows **********. How can I see that number?
Be careful, the Frys in Arlington,TX will sell you a returned component as new. I actually opened a video card box in front of the manager twice in one day, after I bought it. They were obviously returned items. I told him after the second time I was going to report Frys to the attorney general...
When I try to click on the "rate this computer" button nothing happens. I have the following stuff:
SSD OCZ Vertex
2-6870 crossfire
I5-760
Any suggestions?
SOLDAfter much pain, I finally received my cooler master power supply from an RMA. Looks brand new but I'm assuming it's been refurbished. It came with an original box with all the accessories listed in the link: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=2519. $90.00 and please pay for...
I know a lawyer that says the reason for all the shutdowns is the MPAA and similar organizations have paid off all the politicians in Europe and here in USA. Can anybody dispute or agree with that?
I first tried to play the game with win XP but it did not work. Further investigation revealed it will only play with win7. Doesn't that mean it uses dx11? Anyway to make changes with the mouse control in the game itself?
Good Morning,
I have two 6870's in my system. When I run a program called Furmark that maxes out the cards, I get a steady 88C. Seems awful hot to me. Anybody know if these are normal temps for these cards?
I wonder if you would do me a favor. Since we have similar computers, will you run this test: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/? And tell me what your gpu temps are? Mine get to 88C. I'm concerned that might be too high. Although I have run it for at least 3 hours. Thank you.
I get an error message that I can't remember, I'm at work, but the 3dmark forums moderator says they are working on a patch. I have recently ran stress tests on the CPU, memory, and the video cards with success. Mass Effect 2 runs beautifully with no problems. So I have to assume the problem is...
I am probably the only human that does not have a cell phone. We had several cell phone venders here at work yesterday and I talked to all of them. The tablet or pad was interesting in that I would have more room to type, my fingers are just too big to really get a good feel for typing on a cell...
Will a UPS "clean" the electrical signal before the computer. If so what exactly does "clean" mean and is it worth it to purchase a UPS on that alone? Thanks.
I was just talking to one of the IT guys here at work and he says the same thing about copying a drive to an ssd. But I do have AHCI enabled and (correct me if I am wrong) when you use the windows experience index, win 7 does start using trim.
Well, Acronis got several bad reviews on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2DBR3I5S9Y1Z9/ref=cm_cr_dp_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B003VIVY7G&nodeID=229534&tag=&linkCode=#wasThisHelpful.
One guy there talked about this: http://macrium.com/awards.asp. What do yall think?
I have an SSD with win7 64 and 4 raptor hds. I tried to use acronis that you can download free from western digital but it did not work. How do I make a drive to drive copy from my ssd to a raptor hd? Thank you.
Yes, the driver installed fine. But I found out the solution: windows was incorrectly installing the NEC USB 3.0 driver. The suggestion was to go to device manager, right click on the controller and uninstall it. Deleting the driver files as well. I them installed the NEC 3.0 driver, rebooted...
I tried to install the latest driver just now, when I notice in device manager I have this:
Device Type: Storage controllers
Manufacturer: Accusys Inc.
Location: PCI Bus 7,Device o, Function o
Device Status
This device cannot start (code 10)
I don't know, maybe that part of the MB...
The connectors in question are on a new Asus P7P55D-E Pro motherboard. I have them set in the bios as IDE. Shouldn't a serial hd and dvd writer work fine connected? Both devices are recognized as a boot device in the bios, but not in win7. Also, in the bios, the are listed as "not connected"...
I just built a new computer with a CM 690II Advance. I stress tested the CPU and the Video cards getting a high of 57 C and 87 C respectively. I only have the fans that came with the case installed. Based on the temps do you think I need more fans? I can install one more exhaust fan at the top...
