Take everything out of the case. Just set up cpu + ram + videocard + heatsink + [su. Hookm it up, run it.. see if it still crashes. Take off heatsink, clean off gunk, add new thermal paste.. try again.

Seems like putting stuff in the path of the fans raises the noise or reduces how much air they push.. dust is low enough here I just blow it out every 6 months and it does fine.
