A friend of mine thinks they may have a piece of snooping software or App installed on their phone. Things are happening like information that may be from recorded calls, broken passwords etc.
What software would you recommend to find and remove it?

Pretty cool stuff. Makes perfect sense- you could stack 50 lanes of traffic under a single highway lane.
I just posted this on Experts Exchange- the files are up there if you want to take a look:
Run an Excel VBA Macro that Creates Workbooks using Workbooks.Add from the Task Scheduler
This does that- problem is it does not loan the Add-ins or functionality to be able to create a new workbook, due to the VBA being called from OLE Automation.
I just need to figure out how to call that back in.
Set ObjExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
I need to run an Excel VBA Macro from a batch file fired off by Task Scheduler, and it creates a BUNCH of new spreadsheets.
I've got a really big nightly project that is split between a bunch of Virtual Machines across a couple hosts. Excel works best for formatting and producing PDF's. It's...
I've been totally snowed under at work for the past couple months- I moved my corporate headquarters, which also involved moving my primary IT site- we are now in a legit datacenter which brings some peace of mind.
Network Pics Thread
So- back to running the business for a while!
It's also...
We just moved our Corporate Headquarters into a building with a data center on premises, which has been REALLY nice compared to where we were.
A/B power, A/B cooling, Gen-set, controlled access, real-time security monitoring, fiber risers, raised floor, hundreds of feet above street, etc.
So...
Cogent is an awesome ISP- my 5th circuit with them. They rock. Impeccable uptime and support.
This 1Gb connection was about the same price at the 100Mb connection I had at my old building. Exceptionally competitive on pricing if you are in one of their lit buildings.
I will.
Most important is the miter saw; but hand planer, skill saw, router and table saw are also important.
Also- don't forget the fire pit to burn your screw ups!
Heh- my wife actually caught up with the new owner. She ripped all sorts of stuff out, and then sent her work crews onto another project.
So the house has sat empty for 9 months, virtually gutted, with no occupants and craft paper on the stained glass windows. I see this working out well.
Oh...
SO- I'm finally able to start working on my desk again, starting this weekend.
God Bless my wife.
After many hours of research, I settled in on Bubinga, a west African Mahogany that is absolutely gorgeous and comes in slabs 5-6 feet wide and 15 or more feet long in up to 12/4 or more...
So the other side project that came out of this whole thing is I had to get my garage organized before I could build anything.
As anyone that has lived somewhere for a while knows, the garage collects the "indeterminates" in the move. We were able to close out two storage units (nice extra...
So, moving on- we had a bit of new home ownership luck- a fitting on the boy's shower sprung a hairpin leak in the wall over the weekend when we were gone, and we came home to the ceiling in my office on the floor (and desk). And the bathroom was plaster/lathe so we basically ended up gutting...
Sorry for the long time since an update.
Unfortunately, this post is a bit of an obituary. We finally sold the house in October, a couple months longer than we had hoped, but oh well- the check cleared.
I do not know what this woman was thinking. I forgot a couple things there and she let me...
Actually, that's one of the reasons we are moving, better school district and bigger house.
One of the main reasons why I built it to begin with is there is NO storage in the house at all, 2 very small 1925 closets and one slightly bigger one that was added after the house was built...
This is my 5th desk / office project. As you get older, you begin to appreciate what is most important to you.
First versions were in college, not going to cover those here.
V.4 was the conversion of a room in my house to an office. The was great for me, before I got married of course. My...
Very fine work, I am impressed.
I've built 4 desks / offices (working on my 5th ;) ) and I can assure you that I appreciate the work and effort you are putting into this- keep up the good work.
Not sure if this is the right place, but..
I'm looking for a reputable, relatively large (more than a couple programmers in subleased space) software consulting / development firm to hire for an enterprise mobile app. I've hired freelancers and independent consultants; local, US and...
Word.
I've been pushing about 10TB up to Crashplan for about a year now after my "incident"... about 70% done now.
I had about 60% of everything (at the time) up on Backblaze, and it was about $1500 to get my 4TB back from them... And I still had to go to data recovery for the important...
I had 7 of 12 Vertex 3 drives fail on me about a year ago.
I'm still using a couple of them as a swap drive, but I've never been more pissed off at hardware than at OCZ stuff.
I switched over to Intel SSD's and they are rock-solid. Not looking back.
Eh, not necessarily. I've used "Data Rescue PC3" software before and it worked, and the drive was not visible from BIOS. I also had a RAID 6 array kick the bucket on me and that was a 2G recovery from a professional service, argh..
It's too late now, but freezing the drive takes it way out of...
