I've got several hundred back issues of various magazines boxed up in in my closet. Every once in a while I take one out and flip though it. It's really cool to look through an issue of GamePro from 15 years ago. Really shows you how rapidly gaming has changed in so little time, and makes you...
Ridiculous, you's think they'd notice something like that in the year that its been out and correct it ahead of time. I hope this issue isn't repeated when they port over Gears of War 2, if they do that is.
War Hawk is a lot of fun online, but the single player is pretty meh. The Darkness is a fun shooter, and under $20 used at most places, no online mode though. If you like racing games, you gotta check out GT5. Little Big Planet is awesome, one of the most innovative titles released in years.
Exactly. The added magazine capacity and rate of fire will make up for any accuracy loss. I see this being issued for to a squad's designated marksman or to the spotter on a sniper team.
All right, I went with the Sapphire 4830 and the Earthwatts psu. $60 under my $200 budget, so I have enough to buy a shiny new game to enjoy. Thanks for the advice everyone.
I'm sick of playing PC games using onboard video, and not being able to play many at all. I'd like to be able to play most games on medium/high settings at 1440x900. I'll have to upgrade my PSU as well, and I don't want to spend more than $200 total at the very most. Upgrading an HP Pavilion...
I'm a big fan of Fallout 1 and 2. While I knew 3 would be drastically different, given the decade between titles, I still expected a little more from it. I wouldn't say it's overrated, but it certainly could have been better. I would have liked to see at least one large city to explore (like New...
If you actually read his opening post then you'd know that GTX 280 wasn't an option.
I'd go with the 4870 HIS IceQ 4+. I don't own one personally, but I've heard good things.
What I don't like about WoW is the community. It's extremely immature and hostile towards newbies and even more casual players. If you don't play constantly and have the best gear, then you're a scrub, and if you don't know the game inside and out, then you're a noob. Just spend a few minutes...
Too Human. I remember waiting for months for this game. The demo came out and I tried really hard to overlook the gameplay flaws, telling myself that surely they'd be ironed out come release. I was wrong. Very disappointing.
I'm optimistic. Financially, the game industry fared better then most despite hte bad economy. 2008 was a great year for games, especially on the PS3, which i had pretty much been using as just a Bluray player before then. 2009 will bring a new Halo, StarCraft 2, Killzone 2, and possibly Diablo...
I'm a trader for sure. Once I beat a game I really don't see any reason to keep in unless I think I'll want to come back and beat it again someday. The only games I usually keep are RPGs or games I play online alot.
Laziness. People don't want to bother with memorizing a username and password and typing it in every time they log on. Also, it's pretty damn cool and is a great way to impress your friends who think this kind of thing only exists in movies.
Really it comes down to whether or not you plan to play games online. If you're happy with single player, then you can still download updates and bonus content without having a gold account.
To me Fallout 3 is all about exploration and gameplay, so I really don't pay much attention to the voice acting. I read what the character is saying and skip to the next before their done saying it most of the time. Lets be honest, the story in fallout 3 is a bit weak anyway. I do agree it...
Hmm, I've pretty much played the hell out of this game on PS3 for the past 7 months to the point where I'm pretty much sick of it. Still, I may pick it up for PC just for the user mods if nothing else. GTA has always had a kickass modding community on PC.
That card is plenty powerful for what you'd be using it for. However, from reading a few of the reviews on Newegg it seems people are having issues getting their rebates.
