Sure, but that's assuming that they have loot on their ship. If you PVP and they aren't carrying anything, there isn't any sort of game mechanic that rewards you. It seems like Rare was really just banking on the emergent gameplay to carry this game, and once they see their churn rate for the...
The game is a fucking snooze. The thing is - they have a great foundation for a really cool game. But it feels like an alpha.
There's three factions you grind - the quests are essentially the same
There are forts you can attack, but the mechanics are dull and uninteresting
PVP has absolutely...
Long story short, I am totally going deaf and I need to get headphones that connect to my soundbar. Are there wireless ones that exist that I can fairly seamlessly go from my soundbar to the PC?
I've always had cool sound systems for PC and TV, so I am totally in the dark here.
Got mine yesterday, it's a gorgeous TV. Damn thing is about as thick as an iPad. Tested Rise of the Tomb Raider on the XBOX ONE X, which looked quite nice. Checked out Daredevil on Netflix in 4k but TBH, I couldn't notice a difference. Popped in GOTG2 UHD 4K... okay now THAT looked amazing.
Got a work email today saying they're buying X's for the company. That was a nice surprise. I guess I really need to pull the trigger on a 4k TV now. Should I just wait for Black Friday?
I'm not even using the fingerprint reader. Pin or pattern for me. There's also an option for "trusted" devices. Basically if I'm near my FitBit I don't have to unlock my phone every time. Pretty neat.
Anyone get their ship notification yet? I got an email from Samsung on 9/3 that they shipped, but their shitty website brings me to a broken "Track Package" page and the UPS tracking number provided says, "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your...
Not sure that this topic fits neatly in any of the forums, but this'll do.
I've been contemplating outfitting my house with a bunch of LED WiFi bulbs, given that a lot of them can be voice activated via Alexa or Google Home.
Has anyone out there done this? One thing I'm having trouble finding...
It's fun when you realize you can't button mash. You need to dodge, jump, and pick your punches. I like it, but it doesn't feel like a sixty dollar game.
About 30 hours, but I still have a TON of sidequests left to do. I was doing every side quest I came across and then finally said, "Fuck it. I need to beat this game or I'll never do it." I'll come back to it once the DLC hits.
He mentions the GDC presentations regarding the procedural environment system, which are available on Guerrilla's site. If you're in to that sort of thing, it's pretty fascinating. We're looking hard at this game at our company and trying to figure out if there's some stuff we should do for...
Yeah, seems like an accessory heavy console. I'll need a case, another adapter, and probably a screen protector. I can't believe this thing has a plastic screen.
Anyone buy a carrying case for their Switch? Waiting to see if there are any particular good ones before I make the plunge. It's not like a 3DS - I can't just toss it in my bag. It definitely needs a case.
Unless you actively notice it during web browsing or gaming, I don't see why people fuss over it. I don't know if I've owned a monitor that didn't have a little corner bleed on all black screens...
Just got mine installed, along with a new PSU.
I played some Overwatch and Star Wars Battlefront at 1440p and 75hz and... honestly it looks the same as my GTX 970.
I dunno, maybe I need to play with the settings. I'll do it this weekend.
Ended up ordering an R9 Fury to go with this. It looks great as-is now with my 970, but I want that real FreeSync experience. I told myself I'd never go back to AMD...
Yeah, can't make out the last 4-5 green bars on mine. Just got mine setup... honestly it's freaking gorgeous. Just played some Overwatch and it was silk - looked amazing.
