Glad to hear that. I ordered a pair for myself even though I have some MEElec A161s. The casing near the drum is coming off, and I haven't had them for very long, sadly.

Here's what I'm looking at so far: I have a mobo listed here already, but I have not decided to actually purchase that one, yet. I don't have RAM or a HDD listed because a lot of Mobos on newegg are coming with some fee RAM and I'll be using an old HDD. Any advice or suggestions would be...
I'm looking at getting a new laptop, most of the ones I'm deciding between do not have an OS standard, but I have a copy of Windows 7 ultimate that I can remove from my current laptop, except it is 32 bit. The new laptop is most likely going to have more than 4 gb of ram, so does anyone know if...
Not sure where you're hearing this from but my Das is great. Standard model, great feel, looks very nice, has a number pad and sounds awesome.
Quality is very good.
Edit: some complain about lack of extra features, I bought it for the opposite reason. I didn't want the function or macro...
Thank you! You're extremely helpful! Now the only dilemma is between 3G or 4G LTE :p I do plan on browsing a bit, but generally if I'm home I'll be browsing on my laptop, anyways.
Got it! Thank you. So you would recommend the Droid 3 over the Stratosphere, then?
Edit: Also, do you know of any good guides to follow for rooting the phone?
Thanks for the input. The only thing I didn't like about the Droid 3 was that the keyboard felt cramped. Everything is very close together.
I'm not sure if I plan on rooting the phone, mainly because I don't really know what kind of benefits you get from it, and it voids the warranty...
That's a shame, it really does seem like a nice OS, very clean and responsive. The only thing I worry about in waiting for the demo/release of the Nexus Prime is if the sales on the phones I'm currently looking at expire.
Though I suppose it may be worth it, if the Nexus Prime is as amazing...
I'm pretty set on either getting a Windows Mobile phone or an Android, however I can't decide which model to get.
A Windows phone is my first choice, I like the OS very much but the only one out for verizon is the HTC Trophy, which I believe has an iPhone style battery, that can't be replaced...
A family member's computer is dying, so he wants me to just build him a new one. He said his max is $1000 but, for what he wants, it can be done for far less.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
He uses it for music/videos/netflix/web browsing, and...
SC2, but that's not really a game to benchmark with. A friend of mine is running Rift at completely maxed settings on an AMD 6700 card with an i7 processor at 3.08 ghz and getting better FPS than I am. Not really sure what is up with that.
Sorry, forgot about that. I run games at 1680x1050 in fullscreen windowed mode. I was using the "ultra" settings in rift on both cards, and I see a big fps boost in games like BFBC2 with the new card.
Hey guys, I just upgraded my video card from a 4870 1gb to a GTX 560 ti FPB, all of my system specs are in my sig. I'm currently playing rift, and on the 4870 at max settings I would hover between 20-30fps. With the new card I'm going between 25-34 or so fps, and I was expecting a bit more out...
I went with this card. The benchmarks were solid, and very similar to a 6950 in most games, I've heard EVGA has great customer service and the card has a lifetime warranty. Also, after selling my two 4870s, getting the rebate from the new card, and reselling the adobe suite that the card is...
I ask because I'm selling the card, figured I'd get some input. If the card won't make a difference on heat I'll just get whatever I can find a good deal on.
Right now I'm running a Sapphire HD 4870 1GB version, it works fine but it's pretty loud and very hot. My room tends to be the warmest in the house (top of the stairs and in the corner, heh) so I'm trying to cut down on the heat a bit. The main cards I'm looking at are a GTX 560, 570 or a...
5) Man, it's been a while, but the HDs I'm using are a Seagate 500gb (caviar I believe), and a WD 80gb raptor drive.
New monitor: no plans for now, so no specific time frame. Ignore that, I suppose.
I apologize for the timeline, I'm looking at parts now, unless you know of some incredible...
Yeah I've been trying to sell the 4870s for $160 for both, but no one seems to want to buy them. I would love to get a 570, even a 560. I might pull out one of those cards for now, though.
Oh, and I'm actually running the CPU at stock right now.
Hey everybody, I'm looking to sell the computer in my sig and rebuild. The one in the sig runs quite hot, especially because of the crossfire, and my room is pretty warm to begin with, so I want to put together a new build that can run the same games without putting out so much heat (or noise...
True. Was considering buying a 6950 from a guy on craigslist, maybe I'll just wait it out. Would sort of like a stop-gap between there though. I guess I could just remove one of the cards, that'll cut down on heat at least.
Hmm, might be worth it then. The only games I'm playing atm are Rift and SC2, maybe some BFBC2 scattered around. Then again I do plan on getting the new Battlefield
