I am currently using a 2.5 year old 5770. I am looking to upgrade to something newer. I dont really care if it is AMD or Nvidia. I would really like to spend no more than 175. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Been a few years since I have had a PC. But i just recently built an I5 750 system. Right now im using the stock cooler. In the near future i would like to do some overclocking on this system. Can anyone recommend a good bang for the buck cooler for me.
Thanks,
Rob
I will not be doing anything to crazy with it. A little gaming, web, photos. May eventually do a little overclocking. Right now just looking for a system that gives me the best bang for my buck. That is why i was going to go with the x3 720. I dont need any special features on the motherboard...
Been a few years since i have had a PC. But I'm going to build a new system and would like some opinions.
I am thinking about using an x3 720. I would like an opinion on a good board to go with it ASUS MSI etc. Second question is about the integrated graphics in the AMD Chipset. Is it pretty...
I am using an ATI x1900xt right now with a e6600. I am curious to know if it would be a good upgrade to the 8800gts. I use a 24" widescreen lcd. any input you can give me would be great.
Thank you
Robert

I have been trying to overclock my e6600 for a few days now. my problem is wheni change any fsb or anything it will say it in the bios. but when i go to restart the system the clock speed is still at the default of 2400 even if i go up a few mhz. i dont think it is too high of an overclock...
Could anyone tell me if i can use hydrx with a koolance system? or should i stick with the koolance coolant. I am using a Koolance PC3-725 case.
Thanks in advance,
Robert
Im using this case with my 830 not oc'ed. im just using the koolance cpu block and nothing else right now. the temps i get with the koolance on auto is about 45c idle. if i put the koolance on max my cpu idle goes down to 32c idle . i bought a koolance gpu cooler for my x1900xt. i have not...
Has anyone run into any oc'ing problems when using this board in conjunction with one of the lian-li cases. i cant decide whether im going to get the a8n32 or the dfi expert. i dont really want to take the heatpipe setup off.
Thanks
Robert
I have the koolance version of this case and was interested in maybe getting this board or the a8n32. but now im not sure about getting this board to go with the case. i do plan on overclocking. would anyone not get this board because of the issues?. am i correct in saying that asus would have...
Maybe it is a driver problem. on my system if i enable dx9 with 1600x1200 with the games auto settings i hower around 30 sometimes it drops to teens and single digits and becomes un playable. i have to run in dx7 mode for it to be playable.kind of annoying as i thought my system would be more...
Thanks for that tip. i tried it and it helped tremendously. now im up around 70 FPS. im gonna try the widescreen and see how it looks and what kind of FPS i get.
Ive been playing COD 2. and while im playing the fps sometimes dips down to about 5 FPS. and becomes almost un playable. the FPS usually hovers at around 28-35 FPS. in the game im letting the game pick the optimal settings at 1600x1200. I believe my system to be prety powerful.
Intel 955x...
