if the 1660 TI wasn't coming out I would agree here. (mostly) The 1080 is still a pretty good card that does outperform the 2060 (If I recall its neck and neck with the 1070ti) but with the 1660ti coming out the 2060 is dead to me as an option unless Nvidia does something stupid with the pricing.

That is a fairly nice deal. I would just wonder about the noise from a reference card. Might not be a problem for the OP (esp if he uses head sets)

don't go for the 2060. your paying for a lot that you will not be able to use. I would really wait for the 1660 ti to come out. Makes MUCH more sense for what you looking for. If you can't wait then the 1080 used is a good option. followed by the V64 (just barely, depends on who you ask) and...

The freesync issue is far from dead. they are still going to push g-sync as much as they can as the premium product. But I get your point. If all else is equal Nvidia does have more feature sets but at the cost of support in other areas (non gaming mostly). Then again most of that is fluff...

This. I am disappointed. Why pay for 16gb of HBM? not really usable. Then again neither is ray tracing really. not this gen. Both sides have offered us cards with features that we can't use yet.

I doubt its the best case in the world given its price but it seems to be a pretty high value option. For what its worth the newegg reviews are not bad. I have out grown my stainless steel antec (my AX1200 will not fit) and need a replacement. for 80bucks shipped this seems pretty hard to beat...
