well the internal degausser works,because if i really mess up the picture with an external magnet and then degauss then it goes back to the exact same 2 splotches.

yeah i tried the degausser several times (each 30 mins or so), but no luck. I really don't want to just throw this monitor away. There must be a way to fix it. I might have to wait until I go to a bigger town that has places that fix these issues. I am a student in a small college town right...
