Thanks for the reply prolifik, much appreciated - I guess i'll have to check out my local Ikea store :). How do you find the dark finish, it really looks the part from your photographs but how is it in every day life? Is it a dust magnet or scrape easy?

prolifik or anyone else who might know: What is the configuration of this galant desk, i.e. what products are used to create this layout? Is it a standard corner desk with two extensions, 1 straight & 1 rounded? A link to the products used would be really helpful. Many thanks.

I've seen some set-ups that have super extra large mouse mats (gaming surface) that you can set your keyboard, mouse, etc on - can anyone point me in the direction of where you can get these. Thanks.

Thanks for clearing that up kleox64. Its sounds as though this new LG IPS screen has great potential, although after having a quick look it doesn't seem to appear on LG's UK website yet - even though some websites show 31/03/08 as being available to purchase. I guess we'll just have to wait and...

I’m looking forward to the release of the IPS version of this screen. Hopefully the price will settle down and be more attainable with decent/trusted reviews. Is the LG IPS panel rumoured to be the same one as the NEC2490?

ToastyX, i was wondering if you could provide any further info on the Apple 23" display. You seem to indicate that the Apple has an IPS screen and i a new/revised edition of this display has appeared on a UK website. I had already started a thread about this screen but i've had not much luck on...

Totally agree with you here. I would have bought the NEC2490 without question if it was available in the UK but hopefully this Apple screen can be a serious alternative. Also, just wondering whether anything was announced at a conference recently - i'm not sure but is it called CEBIT...
