I have a Google home and I find it very annoying that when I will ask Google home something it also comes up on my phone. I have looked in the settings but can't find anything.
Very annoying thing happened yesterday, I got an update for my android motorola phone and updated it but it would no longer accept my PIN, I tried using safe mode, wiping cache etc. eventually had to factory reset my phone, thank god for the cloud!
Yeah, I realize it was early 3D and using mid 90s tech but it doesn't change the fact most of it looks and plays janky as fuck. Keep in mind I grew up with the PS/N64 and while I did have fun, even then I thought they looked and played pretty bad for the most part. Very hard to go back and play...
Anyone playing it? I don't have a Switch yet but hope to have one by the end of this year, and this will be my first game. I have been playing since Gen I and really want to play this!
I have an SD card that I transfer my apps on to save space. Yet if I restart my phone the apps will disappear on the home screen. They aren't Uninstaller, they are still there, but I have to go through and put them on my home screen every time.
I just recently updated to an Moto E4 and it's miles better than my old crap phone. Got everything from my old phone transferred over and it's all working great except one thing. On my last phone when I'd get a text/notification when the screen was locked it would have a white blinking light on...
Just was curious on your thoughts about this. I have been reading a topic on another forum that primarily consists of older people. What's interesting is the good majority seem to be iPhone users, and have been saying how Android phones aren't nearly as intuitive or easy to use. One example many...
So the mouse I currently have is quite a few years old and love it but lately it's been having some issues to the point it must be replaced. Forgot exactly what model it is but I took some pictures:

Sad to think these people are the games journalists we have that have any influence.
Here's an article by the reviewer explaining why he struggled so much:

So this is very odd. I will watch YT vids while right outside my apartment while I take a smoke break on my phone. And while I understand the wifi signal won't be as strong as indoors, up until a week ago I never had any issues with it. Even the little wifi bar only goes down one notch and I...
I agree with Best Buy here. You don't deserve a free ride of the game when the conditions say you must buy it to get your "beta". The beta/demo is provided as a "thank you" to the people who pre-order. It not there to get a free test drive of the game because if it was, the beta would be...

I think this is really stupid and anti-consumer. Who buys STEAM gifts months in advance? Seems this is mostly an anti-reseller key measure.
10. Screencheat.
9. Turok: Rage Wars.
8. Reflex Arena.
7. TimeSplitters 2.

I like the list, though I have never played Screencheat or Reflex Arena before.
Quite old, but still interesting to see how in a lot of ways Nintendo never changed. On one hand, the whole "Nintendo never lowers the prices for games" is quite true with some exceptions. And at least till the Switch Nintendo still had scummy business practices. Very interesting look at...

There's the joke that Valve doesn't like to make things in threes. But do you think we will ever see a Half-Life 3?
Personally, I think by this point no. Really stupid to leave it on such a big cliffhanger.
10. Metroid Prime.
9. Unreal Tournament.
8. Bioshock.
7. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
6. Quake II.
5. GoldenEye 007.
4. Halo 2.

1. Half-Life 2.
Agree? Disagree? I think this is a great list and is a good top 10 of the best FPS'.
He makes some really great points. In particular Xbox' lack luster streaming and despite it being much more powerful than the 360 backwards compatibility doesn't offer a true smooth FPS? Seriously??
So this is strange issue I have been having. I recently bought an Xbox One S. I had a 360 but sold it 2-3 years ago. I sign in with what my gamertag was, in this case Azurethor yet it shows my username as SilentGoat and lists my live account as something else. The one it lists is one I made...
Really interesting video with some thoughts:
While PC game sales are really great, is the PC market itself dying? Given that unlike the early to mid 2000s where you needed a PC for everything from email, to messenger, to internet etc. you can easily do all of those on tablets/smartphones now.
With the Pro and the Scorpio it has been said that both Sony and Microsoft will have a policy where new games still have to work on the OG systems. But do you think for however long the Pro/Scorpio lasts it will always be the case and we won't see any Pro/Scorpio-exclusive games?
Also, it does...
This is a problem my friend is having. He has a 55' Sony Bravia he bought about 4 months ago, along with a Sony sound bar/subwoofer. He has been having issues where everything is out of sync, like someone will speak but the audio comes a few seconds later. Kind of like watching a foreign film...
- owned most consoless before
- love FPS games and like 3rd person games like Ninja Gaiden and action/adventure/RPG
- want good looking graphics
Is Xbox One S a good choice for that?
What else do I need to buy to go with it? Like some upgraded/better controller or some other handy gadget...
So I found this rather interesting article that is part of a blog talking about game development from a developer's standpoint and this one I found particularly interesting:

Very strange and annoying issue I have been having. For some reason my connection to the Internet via 4g has suddenly decided to start acting real slow.
In the past it was never a problem, going on websites, watching YouTube videos, watching Netflix etc was always fast and never have buffering...
Really, unless you are actively on a team making money, isn't watching sports really just as inherently a "waste of time" as playing video games are? While it's not as bad as it used to be, there are still those that view it as such, many I am sure make sure to watch just about every...
LOL I know it's a huge joke but I still think he makes a few good points, you start off pushing a car? And why even bother with one if riding on a chicken is better? lol.
Do you think VR has much in the way of longevity? Personally, I don't think so, I really don't see developers making anything like AAA games for it and I see people tiring of it relatively quickly.
Curious, I am wondering if there is a device that will allow me to put anything on my Comp on TV. For example if I want to play emulators if i could simply display it on my TV while playing with me xbox controller.
