i owned a 480 for about a year and all of the heat and noise talk is waaaaaaay over blown. i wouldnt hesitate running one, two or three of them in future if the price point is right.

from what im seeing if you get the SE version youre good to go.

if you fold with any high end video card its gonna warm up your room, the 480 will be a little warmer compared to a 580 but nothing you could notice

an E8400 at 4ghz+ is a monster dual core gaming processor. at stock not so much. mine ran at 4ghz at default voltage.
