Removed all the garbage I did not ask for, optimized system, installed my software and made it 3x faster.
Imaged drive using Acronis and Windows BAR
Whats the best way to do this and will I need to run a Windows 7 DVD to repair the...
Its the ram, not compatible with this mobo. I'm sure i can get it to work but just ordered 8gig ripjaws, its on the qualified vendors list. screw it ram is dirt cheap.
Blue screens are completely random. Can run for days with no instability.
We went from a saphire 5770 to a XFX 5770. Tried 10.6, 10.10, 11.7(current) 11.8, 11.11. I use driver sweeper in safe mode. I have not tried drivers from WU.
I'll run memtest all night. I have no other compatible ram but...

Image? It hasn't been stable long enough to image. Yes its SP1.
The Einsteins who replaced my asus mobo with the gigabyte didn't even reformat. I had a asus driver running in the background, windows installer was broken.
"its very time consuming to reformat if not necessary"
YOU HAD THE...

What process did you have to go though for a refund from AVA? Its been 2 months of blue screens and crashes, one return back and I'm still at square one with ignored phone calls. I'm ready to file a dipute wiyh my CC company.
Thanks.
Alright I got my machine back, they replaced the graphics card. Its running beautifully right now. Don't know what they did but its running way faster than when I initially got it. So far so good.
I did install a little bit too much crap at once. A new system I should install one program at a time and run it for a while, so I accept some of the blame.
They tested my RAM and video with no issues. They said I have to much third party software installed. I have all the same software on my W7/32bit machine without issue. I understand its a different hardware configuration but I don't think its a software issue.
What good is a $1,000 machine I...

I'm not that knowledgeable about the hardware aspects, but this doesn't look right, that heatsink is 1/64 away from the stick. That can't cause some sort of short?
Ran each RAM stick separately Memtest
Mod 1, 20:56 , 1 pass no errors, locked up.
Mod 2, 2:03, locked up
I did have issues with the front USB ports, plugging anything in would freeze windows, had to reset. It was intermittent. I plugged the top ports cord into a different header and that...
Alright with the windows banter. I reset the bios to defaults and nothing has crashed lately. I did initially try overclocking using the OC auto utility but blue screened so I thought I set everything back, maybe not. I will run it at default settings and see whats up.
Reason I was quick to...
AVA direct built this rig so I'll probably just drop it off there. Thats why I had them build it so I wouldn't have to pull what hair I have left out trying to troubleshoot.
