Not a very good game, even for $20 :(

It's really worth picking up just for the multiplayer. This is one of my most player 360 games at the moment. The sound design is sweet, if you have a 5.1 setup.

I think they are feeling a little pinch from ATT. I made switch over to ATT U-Verse service and love it. Everyone I know that has Comcast hates it and are currently looking for alternative solutions.

wow that sucks about the 606. I was looking to buy that but opted for the Denon 1709. The video upconversion is better but dones't pass audio over HDMI, bummer.

No need to go with speakers that are computer specific. I think it's a big mistake to overlook all these suggested alternatives. You guys have given some great recommendations.

I have the LCD2470WNX and like it but it certainly gets outshined by my 2490

hrrrm, I wonder what that could be. I just installed FEAR on my 4870xfire rig and get consistantly "sick" framerates.

I have the 2490 and play lots of FPS games and don't notice any problems.

I also have a reddish tint from an angeled view when I look at a dark screen. Thats pretty normal from what I've read

yeah, that doesn't look anything like mine. I think yours might be faulty. side note# My monitor is calibrated.

2 - 17" crts that pretty much suck. I'm a graphic designer and my home setup rocks my work setup. At home I have 2 - 24" NEC's 2490 + 2470. I guess the home setup is like a second job since I do freelance work on my off time.

I've used Asus boards for for my last 3 builds and they were all rock solid. I'm really impressed with my newest build that uses the Rampage Formula.

Here you go Coolink Gfxchilla 4 Heatpipe VGA Cooler . I wanted to keep my noise levels down and they fit the bill. Both my cards idle at high 40's to 50c. I know you can do that with the "fan mod" but you also increase the noise level a bit. These GFXchillas are virtually silent.

yea, they do seem well built but I need to find ways to cut noise down where I can. My machine is already a bit on the loud side. My 9800 GTX was much louded than my new crossfire setup.

What are your temps? My cards idle at around 50c so far. I installed GFX chillas on both and love them. This is my first experience with crossfire and so far its looking good.

yeah, I jumped the gun on that one. It runs at the right speed when I'm in a game. I installed those GRF Chillas on both cards and man are those silent. My 3D mark numbers arn't much better than my 9800 GTX and 3Dmark06 crashes everytime.

I Just installed 2 4870's in crossfire. The problem is when I go to the ATI control panel and look at current GPU settings the GPU clock jumps from 770MHZ to 500MHZ. It also does this when just one 4870 is installed. Anyone have any idea why the GPU clock would do that? It does this no matter...

Thanks for the information. I was just about to finish my EVGA step-up. I canceled that bad boy and I'm selling my GTX on ebay. Eh, I also felt dirty for some reason stepping up to the 280. That would have cost me 300smackers anyway.
