That x900 looks great...I'll take one in black. Hopefully it will be a little more affordable than the x1000 as it is a little smaller (the additional anodizing and window may offset that though)

It is actually dark brown, but it sometimes looks almost black. Depends on how the light hits it.

These are the legs I used: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20056915 I think there were some other types of legs as well. There is also a large support bracket that runs the length of the desk.

I would guess my PC is around 20-25 pounds. I can push down on the bracket, and it still won't budge. I guess it all depends how tightly you screw it into the table.

I recently redid my office (flooring, paint, moulding, the works) and bought all new Ikea furniture GALANT desk BILLY and BENNO bookcase/CD storage I also have an EFFEKTIV file cabinet. Like Mr Wolf said, the Signum works pretty well for wiring organization...
