Haha, is this competing for air an actual or a hypothetical situation? I have the stock cooler on an i5-2500. I don't think these fans have enough power to create a low pressure zone. I turned it on briefly and the PSU does pull air in from the fan side and exhausts out the rear, but shouldn't...

How are you guys mounting your PSUs? Fan up or fan down? I have a Silverstone Strider Plus ST50F-P (great clearance to the HDD cage btw), and I mounted it fan down to give the CPU some air. But maybe this is wrong?

It's sick if you have the money to throw at the monitor AND the graphics cards to run games at that resolution. Will you notice the resolution difference? I won't, except I'll notice the skipping frames and the significantly lighter wallet. :)

Passive subwoofers are lame. The front and center speakers also look too small to provide any decent midrange. You definitely want a system with an active sub, especially for movies.
