the mini displayport to dvi adapter from apple won't help you since it's the wrong direction, you need a dvi to mini displayport, and that requires power to make the conversion from what i understand. PS. they remodeled the at-dp200, it's got a plastic enclosure and now has short tails on it...

To the OP... if you really want to go the extra mile and try to get a 24" LED apple cinema connected to your pc, you will need either a videocard with a displayport out or you'll need this powered/active dvi source to displayport out converter...
