Windows Server 2003 - Shares Appear to Drop Randomly

From the symptoms you describe, it sounds like your are having issue with client computers "locating" the server. I'd check for conflicting DNS entries on your internal DNS server. If you are using WINS, I would check there as well. I think you might have mutiple records for the SERVERNAME...

Need help with an XP Client Machine on Win2000 AD domain *paypal reward*

Not for nothing, but logon/logoff events, by default, are monitored and logged using the security logs on the domain controllers. IMHO, using a logon/logoff script to write a date/time stamp to a database is redundant as the domain controllers are already logging this information. There...

All you basically said was that Core Temp and Real Temp post correctly report distance to Tj Max. Thank you for stating the obvious...lots of programs are able to do that. The only real question is - what does Tj Max equal in Celsius? The Q6600 Tj MAX is assumed (you know what they say about...

Which Overclocked 9800GX2 is the best?

Called EVGA a few days ago about this. The rep said all of the 9800 GX2s they are selling (reference clock and overclock) are the same card. The only difference is that the "overclocked" ones ship with overlocked values in the firmware of the card. Save your money use a software overclocking...

Time to get drastic then... POST the system outside of the chassis. Remove MB, RAM, CPU, 9800 GX2 and Power supply and POST with just those. Those and just those - nothing else. BTW, for giggles, do you have a different monitor you can try with the 9800 GX2?
