its just that a 8pin adapter is not guarantee to output the 150w a normal 8 pci-e suppose to handle with an adapter you are basically trying to force out 150w from a 75w cable

that was quoted off EVGATech_JacobF from evga forums... reason why they didnt ship their with adapters. the only one i heard that is shipped with adapters is msi

It is highly recommended to use an 8 pin powersupply (the adapters do not pass UL cert and could be a fire hazard.)

lol was just thinking the same :p you should also check gpu-z and see if your gts is running at x1 instead of x16 some ppl have experience this problem

in my MC they were all in the new blue box for the 45nms thats pretty much guarantee g0 too

not enought vcore? when i try to push mine to 3.8 my windows would get corrupted :( and tbh IP35 pro bios is weird in a way everytime i change the settings on it, it would turn off for like 5sec then starts up again I that just me or happens with every IP35 Pro Board?

use a blow dryer to heat up the hsf and slowly twist the cpu out of the hsf

yup its the latest and yes around 5 ppl stated that the cpu works with the board.

same thing happen to me but it was for xvid.. i had to underclock my cpu :(. i think this is mostly likely a driver problem this never happened with my 320 gts

when i stepped up my 320gts to 512gts it took exactly 1 week sent card on friday got card back on friday. Well i live in cali though and got it shipped back to me within 2 days.

well mine idles at 35-40C and load max at 55C so there is no need

mine run at 35C idle and 55C under load :)
