The only way to combat this is to boycot the artists. Stop buying their music and going to concerts. This should be well organized and propelled globally. The artist should be crushed. Crushing the artists shuld become a cool thing to do.
Brothers,
A strange sheat is going on with my box.
When I click Shut down in win7, the PC shuts down, but not completely.
The fans continue to spin and the MB status indicator shows a status of ON.
On the other hand, when I click on the Power button on the case, the PC shuts down...

Regarding the post you refer to. He tells that he gets no problems "most of the time"...
This is not good enough and means that the problem could be even more serious like faulty hardware.
They talk about bios rev of motherboard... anyway, there is only one bios rev for this video card. I spent like six hours yesterday to try to mod the bios and reflash. Again, there is only one bios revision for this card.
I got a Gigabyte GTX 275 with my new build a week ago and since day one I get no signal during post at most of the times.
When I do a cold boot, usually I do get a signal and the display powers up, but when I do a restart from windows, most of the times there is no signal up until the windows...
It appears that grounding is required.
See the WD Quick Install Guide (Search for grounding within the document)
Still, I am not sure about this
You are right. The sites are not the most popular ones, but that is why I am here, asking for advise.

Hi,
Yesterday I was examining the HD mounting mechanism in my new Lian-Li v1010
The case uses rubber rings to mount the HD and by this preventing vibration.
This got me thinking about a static charge and after a short search in Google for "harddisk grounding" a lot of stuff came...
Head spins
Wondering what to get
I think my system at load is about 500 Watt
This is the spec:
Corsair HX Series 620W PSU
Geforce GTX275
OCZ PLATINUM DDR3 12GB 1600MHZ 6 DIMMs
Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz @ 3.2
4 X Western Digital 500GB WD5002ABYS
LANPARTY UT X58-T3eH8
Creative X-Fi...
I went over the specs of that UPS and it doesn't look good at all!
The UPS is rated at 1,285 VA, BUT it says thet it delivers 1800 Watts !!!
This is impossible!!! 1,285 VA UPS is around 700 watts
Looks like a scam to me.
That is a really good value for a good product!
If you got any more money to spend, this will be a nice upgrade:

Get two packs to have 12GB.
I don't have much experience with windows 7, but it is possible that paging file is used differently on win 7. Microsoft did some major upgrade to the Win 7 memory system.
It is not important what the used space of the paging file is. The problem is with the frequency the paging file is been accessed. Windows accesses the paging file much more often than it should. Pay attention to the HDD activity light, why is it active every time you perform some operation even...
You are wrong. Windows will utilize that 512MB extensively, even if all the RAM is left free. Turn off the paging file and you will see how your hard drive gets a break.
I am running windows servers 2003/2008 for the past 5 years without the windows paging file. I turn it off on both home and work computers. Again, I am running like this for the past 5 years. The first thing that I do after installing windows is turning off the paging file. I have never...
That's all nonsense!
I have my 3GS connected constantly to 5 different Bluetooth headsets. Wi-Fi operates as a hot spot, the GPS is running as a screensaver and I am not missing any calls.
My battery lasts for ages, may be charging it once a week.
