expound please criccio. I have really low low sound in bf3 with an auzentech prelude card. Everything else is fine except bf3. I will try the 24/16 @ 48Hz I guess. I was already set at 16/48
I'm having the same issue. Very low down and it's cranked.
If someone has a fix could you sticky it or something? And then only let admins post in it. The thread that is linked here is over 400 pages long.
TIA
Okie... well someone gave me a 7900 gt to muck around with and i'm curious if i can sli it with a 7800gt. They both have the same amount of ram and they are both 7 series cards. Basically this 7900 is going in the trash bin if i can't do it as it has an artifacting problem.
I installed both...
You know what mate... after 3 attempts to get a solid HTPC working the way i wanted.... the newer the gear the easier it works.
1st attempt was a tulantin cpu 1.255 ghz apg board (wanted to use my old 9800 ati)
2nd was a cheapo asus agp 3800+ 939 board with a via chipset (via sucks balls)...
Heh... I'm not surprised in the least that it didn't work. You can either disable the on board sound in the windows device manager, just not use it, or perhaps that mobo has a jumper you need to move. Check your manual. Updated BIOS wouldn't hurt.
You can use a thumb drive in your USB port to...
useless for capturing tv.... useless for games... just plain useless. Anyone building PVR's these days need at least a dual core with as much ram as you can throw at it and a fast OS. It's the only way to capture HD with any kind of quality. This setup is like a 10 year old system with fast ram.
OK... all you're really gonna do is waste a ton of time IF it doesn't work... back up your data and be prepared to re-install windows. Think about it.... you're gonna upgrade your computer with a registry FULL of stuff you don't need and don't want all you end up with a half assed OS.
A...
that 4200+ is an under rated cpu. I oc'd that thing to 2.8 ghz with no volt mods... if you played around with it a bit I'm sure you could easily hit 3.0 ghz. Not bad for a cpu under 100 bux.
And he's right... going to ddr2 is cheap as hell right now it really does go faster than ddr ;)
It's a bit of a mixed bag.... personally i like the fresh install then i know i have zero conflicts. And they are right about getting a new mobo things change so fn fast it's useless to plan for the future unless you are running a 440bx !
Yep.. i would got straight back to basics on this one.... remove every single card out of the system including the video card. Remove all drives power and connections. When you boot the 1st time it should beep like crazy because there will be a video adapter error. Make sure you have no other...
This sounds like the problem when sata 1st came out... the bios was auto setup for raid and wouldn't detect the drive. You could try disabling raid in the bios.
We still don't know why it crashed. 4 people died in that accident and the pilot was an expert... The crash site really isn't as big as you'd think and theres virtually nothing left of the chopper itself. Some people on the news reported feeling the clap of the chopper blades in their chest...
Brain loves his case... he's put alot of work into it. Although i agree with Citizen's post... More space is needed when 3 or more hdd's are present. In fact I told Braineater personally he should consider a better case to start workin on. Yah need a crowbar and a sledge hammer to put that damn...
Dan... i've read your posts and all are very good.. but i have to agree with Braineater simply on the basis of knowing him personally for nearly 10 years now. He is the inventor of our group and probably the most dedicated person i know when it comes to researching data or trouble shooting...
